The restaurant's look and music recreate really well the typical atmosphere of French bistrots. The food was delicious, and the value for money of the Fork menu was excellent BUT we were sat next to a couple who spent the entire time on their computers and face-timing friends and family members really loud. We politely mentioned that we would appreciate if they could be a bit quieter, but they didn't understand why, so got a bit quiter indeed but carried on face-timing until we left. The staff could obviously see what was going on but did not bother. If I were the staff, I would have asked them to go in a coffee shop or a McDo rather than being in a restaurant trying to display a certain level of standing. I was also surprised when we were told to put our coats on the "cloackroom" hangers ourselves... of course, nothing we can't do, but if you're playing the elegance card, I would have expected the staff to do it (like they do in most restaurants of similar standing, to be honest).

Nice spot for a business lunch. Efficient service, clean space, and a good buzz without being too loud. The steak was cooked as requested, arrived promptly. Solid option for the area.

Nice spot for a relaxed dinner. The wine list is decent, though the tables are a bit close together.

A proper little pub, this. The vibe's lively, gets packed on a Saturday night. Drinks are decent, prices are what you'd expect in London.

Perfect for a special night out, this restaurant combines excellent service with a warm atmosphere. The wagu slider and crème brûlée were highlights of our meal, and the cocktails were top-notch as well.

The staff were so on it even on a packed Saturday night. Our server remembered we'd asked about the special earlier and checked back. That kind of attention is nice.

Khalid and his team were really on it. They were polite, checked in just enough without hovering. Made the whole evening feel smooth.

The breakfast ramen is a lovely idea. The noodles were just right, and the booth seating was very comfortable.

The roast beef sandwich was tasty and filling. Their house red was a solid match for it, too. Good value going for the large size.

The tasting menu was a lot of food for the price. We were honestly struggling to finish everything by the end. Good to know you're getting your money's worth in terms of portion size.

Been coming here for years, and the early bird food discount is still a solid deal. Grabbed a table around 6:30 last night, got the discount on my usual order. Makes a midweek dinner out feel a bit easier on the wallet.

The staff member who looked after our table was really warm. She even took a moment to pet a customer's dog, which was a nice touch. That kind of personal attention stood out.

Always a good shout for a casual catch-up. The lamb cutlets are spot on, and the vibe is just right for a relaxed meal with mates.

Great place for a group dinner. The manager was really friendly and checked on us a few times. Food came out fast for a big table. It was lively, maybe a bit loud for a quiet chat, but perfect for our crowd.

Service was on point, friendly and quick. The food really stood out - they know how to use their spices. The naan was the star, perfectly fluffy and charred. Flavours were spot on.

Ordering's a bit confusing at first, but you figure it out. You get a few rounds to try different sushi off the belt, plus some hot dishes from the menu. The salmon nigiri was really fresh.

The gin tasting was so fun and interactive! Our host was brilliant, explained everything really well. The cocktails we tried afterwards were full of flavour, especially loved the one with the citrus twist. Such a cool spot for something different.

The pasta was cooked just right, not too soft. You can see them making it fresh in the open kitchen, which is nice. The sauce had a good balance of herbs, not overpowering. A solid choice if you're just here for the food.

Nice spot for a coffee. Sophie was really helpful and friendly. The vibe is relaxed, good for a quiet catch-up. Coffee was decent, nothing mind-blowing but solid.

I've been back a few times recently. The ingredients are always so fresh, which makes it easy to stick to my healthy eating goals. The grilled salmon with seasonal greens was spot on.

The Wednesday half-price pizza deal is the main reason I go. Got the pepperoni last week, and it was huge – easily enough for two. For the price, you really can’t beat it.

Been popping in since uni days, and their classic cheeseburger still hits the spot. Juicy patty, soft bun, just the right amount of sauce. It's my reliable London burger fix.

Been coming here for years. The loyalty program is a solid perk – after a few meals, they give you a free bag of tapioca flour. It's a small thing, but it feels like they actually remember the regulars.

The veggie ciabatta was so fresh and the oat milk coffee was just right. The menu is small, but honestly, that made choosing easier. It felt like they really cared about what they do serve. A nice, simple spot.

As a vegan, it's rare my partner and I both leave this happy. The jackfruit tacos had a smoky depth I wasn't expecting. Staff were lovely, too.

The lamb shank here is the real deal. Slow-cooked for hours, the meat just falls off the bone. The saffron rice it comes with is spot on, too. It's exactly what I was hoping for from a Persian place.

This place is a gem in Islington! The quality of the food is outstanding, with a great selection of tapas that truly represent Spanish cuisine. The atmosphere is cozy, and the service is top-notch.

Fun spot, good mix of people. Was just grabbing a solo drink but ended up chatting with a few groups. Music was loud but the vibe was easy. Could see it working for a big group.

The Italian baked eggs were spot on, creamy with a nice kick from the chorizo. Granola had good texture, not too sweet. Bar service was quick and friendly. Just a solid, tasty breakfast.

Solid food for a wine bar. The cheese board and anchovy butter are good. The pickled cauliflower with Indian spices was a nice touch.
