Food was tasty but service was a bit slow when busy. Waitress was nice though, suggested the frangipane instead of Eton Mess.

The food and drinks consistently impress at this venue. I particularly enjoyed the fish and chips, which were perfectly cooked with a lovely batter.

Decent pub grub, fair for London. The fish and chips portion is huge, fish was flaky, batter crispy. Had a pint of their house lager with it, a good match for the fried food. The tapas deal looked good value too.

The fish and chips here are solid. The batter is crisp and not too greasy, the chips are proper thick-cut. The mushy peas on the side are a nice touch, classic pub fare done right.

The food's been pretty good since Rhys took over as manager. The steak and ale pie was decent, and the service felt a bit warmer than before. It's nice to see the old place getting back on its feet.

The afternoon tea had a really nice selection of sandwiches and desserts. Our server Emma was so lovely to chat with, really made it feel special. Just a really pleasant, relaxed vibe.

Solid Philly cheesesteak (they were great about my onion allergy). The grilled cheese was good too. A bit of a wait, but worth it for the food.

The food's the main draw here. The fish and chips is exactly what you want - proper crispy batter, chunky chips. The burger was decent too, nothing fancy but hits the spot. Prices are spot on for what you get.

The Sunday roast is a proper pub classic. The beef was tender and the gravy rich, but the real star was the house red they suggested to go with it. Spot on pairing.

Proper old-school London pub, love the vibe. Had a couple Amstels and crisps, perfect for a quick stop. Location's spot on near Tottenham Court Road, easy to get to.

Booked the upstairs room for a birthday do. The sound system was good, and the TV screen for photos and games was a nice touch. Staff were really attentive all evening, checking in without being intrusive. Made hosting much easier.

Reliable Wetherspoons by the Tower. The beer selection is pretty good, and the food is decent for the price. It was a bit crowded when we visited, but that's to be expected in this spot. Fine for a casual pint.

Proper City pub. The cask ales were spot on, really well kept. Staff were friendly and quick. Just what you want for a quiet pint after work.

A delightful historic wine bar with a cozy atmosphere. The extensive range of wines at reasonable prices makes it a must-visit for wine lovers.

Great spot for a quick business lunch. Had the fish and chips, solid portion and decent price. Service was prompt, got in and out in under an hour. The historic interior is a nice touch, feels like a proper London pub. Convenient for meetings near the station.

The food was all served piping hot and at the same time, which was great. Really appreciated the fresh ingredients in every dish.

The bar is so bright and airy, and the seats are really comfortable. A lovely, relaxed spot for a quiet pint.

The pub had a really cosy, lived-in feel. The food was hearty and comforting, just what you'd want.

Been coming here for years. It's just a comfortable spot, whether it's packed on a Friday or quiet midweek. Always feels like the same friendly, easy-going place.

Emily and Sergio were so friendly and chatty, really made us feel welcome. The music was just right, not too loud. A lovely spot for a relaxed dinner.

A really nice spot for a drink with your dog. The staff were so friendly and even brought water for mine.

The wine list is really something, mostly French. I was impressed by the range of options. The food was lovely, classic French dishes. I appreciated the fresh, quality ingredients in my coq au vin.

The Mexican Benedict was fantastic. As a vegetarian, I was pleased to see so many thoughtful plant-based options clearly marked on the menu.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. The Caesar salad was fresh and the burger was cooked just right. Portions were generous for the price, which is always a plus. Staff were friendly too.

The fish and chips were spot on. The batter was crisp, not greasy, and the chips had that proper fluffy inside. The mushy peas were a bit too thick for my liking, but the fish itself was perfect. That's what I come for.

Had a Sunday roast here with my mates. The beef was spot on, really tender. Veggies were nice too. The sticky toffee pudding was the star though, so good for sharing. A proper cosy pub for a chilled catch-up.

The live band on Saturday was spot on. Really added to the vibe, made it a proper night out. Pub's got a good, lively feel to it.

The three-course deal is such good value! Perfect for a catch-up with friends, we had a great time in the outside area.

Lovely garden out back with covered seating, perfect for a drizzly evening. The Mediterranean twist on the menu was a nice surprise. Staff were really friendly too. A solid spot near the station.

The beer selection is fantastic. Seven cask ales on tap, including a black IPA, and the prices are really good.
