The lamb roast was so tender it just fell apart! The chicken was juicy too, not dry at all. Loved the crispy roast potatoes and huge Yorkshire puddings. Perfect for sharing with friends over a long, chatty lunch.

Popped in for a pint and a bite. The ham, egg and chips were really well done. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, which made it a very relaxed visit.

Solid English breakfast, unlimited coffee refills. Good value for a quick bite. The pub's got some local history on the walls, which is a nice touch. Got in and out fast, perfect for a lunch break.

Been for the bottomless brunch a few times now. The unlimited drinks are definitely worth it, and the food portions are decent. Always leaves me feeling like I got my money's worth.

Proper English pub on a quiet lane. Had a pint and read my book for an hour. Just the right relaxed vibe for that. Staff were friendly without being over the top.

Cosy spot, especially the tables by the fire. Just the right kind of warmth for a damp evening. The drinks list is really good, had a lovely local gin. A bit pricey for a pub, but the vibe was spot on.

Grabbed the beef roast for a quick Sunday lunch. Came out fast, which was perfect. The meat was really tender. Staff were nice and efficient. Good spot for a proper meal when you're short on time.

The steak was spot on, cooked exactly as I like it. Also tried their cheese and chorizo croquettes special - really good, proper hearty stuff. Just what you want from a pub.

Been here a few times now. Food's always solid. The homemade pasta is the move. Good portions, fair price. That's it.

The outdoor seating area is really pleasant on a summer evening. They stay open late on weekends, which is a plus. Good selection of real ales and ciders to enjoy out there.

The chef's special noodle soup was so fresh and full of flavour. The pork was tender and the broth had a lovely depth to it.

The refurb looks nice, feels cosy. Good for a chilled lunch.

Nice spot in the Yard. The roof and heaters kept it warm. Pizzas looked great coming out of the oven. Service was quick and friendly.

Staff were so welcoming to our four dogs, made us feel at ease. The dogs got water bowls and treats without us even asking. A relaxed visit, which isn't always easy with a big furry crew.

Tried the Sunday roast. Triple roast was a solid pick - massive portions, the roast potatoes were properly crispy. Couldn't finish it all.

Solid Sunday roast. The meat was a really nice cut, cooked just right. Good selection of veggies too. Felt like a proper, no-fuss meal. Hit the spot.

The staff were so lovely with our little one. They brought over crayons and paper without us even asking, which was a real lifesaver. Made the whole meal feel relaxed and easy.

The QR code ordering was a nice touch, made it super easy to grab a quick bite. Drinks were fairly priced too.

Been coming here for years, and the vibe is always spot on. It's that cozy, low-key bistro feel that just lets you unwind. Never feels rushed, even on a busy Friday. That's the main reason I keep coming back.

Great little spot for a drink and a bite. The bar food was spot on - the burger was juicy, perfect with a local IPA. Staff were friendly and helpful. The place has a nice, cozy feel to it, feels like a proper old pub. A solid choice.

Great pint in the garden. Holly was a top host. Quick, easy spot for a drink.

Cosy spot with the open fire going - perfect for a cold evening. Staff were really friendly, and they let us bring our dog in too. Just the kind of place you want to settle into for a few hours.

Jamie's D&D nights are a solid idea. It definitely brings in a different crowd. He's always on the floor, checking on tables and helping out. The vibe is fun, though it can get a bit loud when the dice start rolling!

Cosy spot with a real fire, and the local beer selection is good. The seats were comfortable for a long, relaxed visit.

Nice spot to catch a game. Staff were really friendly. Had the fish and chips - the batter was crisp and the chips were proper chunky. A solid choice for a casual bite.

Popped in for a late lunch, the scotch eggs are still my favourite. They’re always spot on. The menu’s got a good mix of the usual pub stuff and a few lighter choices, which I appreciate. It’s a reliable place for that.

The roast beef was spot on, cooked just right and so tender. The roasties were crispy on the outside, fluffy inside, and the Yorkshires were perfect. A proper Sunday lunch. The upstairs loos could do with a few more paper towels, but that's a small thing.

Stayed one night. The room was fine, but honestly, the best part was the pub downstairs. Had the fish and chips for dinner – the portion was huge, easily enough for two. That alone made it worth it.

A proper local pub. The regulars were chatting at the bar and the staff were really welcoming. Tried a couple of the local ales on tap, which were spot on. Just the kind of place you want on a grey afternoon.

Matt was a great server, really knew his stuff. The fish and chips were decent, but the real winner was the house lager he suggested - crisp and cold, cut through the fried food perfectly. Made a simple meal much more enjoyable.
