HiI spent New Years Eve at The Dublin Irish Pub at Patong Beach Phuket Thailand. The location is on Bangla Road. The decor is very Irish and the wait staff appeared to be friendly ....BUT...be prepared for a high-priced night. Let me explain...it is common for bar girls to ask for a lady drink...then they sit and provide conversation and company or perhaps a game of pool. You get value for your money. At this bar...the staff ask for and expect a bar drink just for getting you your order...So order a beer 150 bht and they expect a &quot;bar drink at 250bht. If if you say no...they make a face...or ask again...or POINT TO IT ON THE MENUE...crass service.....very uncomfortable...AVOID this place with their HIGH PRICED TIP request...I mean demand.
