Love that they have indoor and outdoor seating. Perfect spot to watch the game with a lively crowd.

Been coming here for years. Their full English is always spot on - never greasy and ready in a flash even on busy mornings.

The dim lighting and cosy feel made for a nice evening out. We had the sea bass, which was pretty good. Service was a touch slow, but it was a pleasant meal overall.

The lighting's brighter, feels more open. But the main thing is the food. Had the lamb shank, the meat just fell off the bone. Rich, deep flavour in the sauce. That's what I come for.

Maks and Dera were on point during our business lunch. Quick to refill water, handled the bill split efficiently without being asked. That level of attentive service is appreciated when you're on a tight schedule.

Friendly staff, helped with a last-minute change. Squid starter was fantastic. Mains and dessert were good too. Nice atmosphere for a relaxed evening.

The roast dinner was lovely, especially those potatoes - so fluffy inside and crispy outside. It's a very reasonably priced meal. The staff were really friendly and attentive, which made the whole experience feel relaxed and easy.

Busy spot, especially on weekends. Had to wait a bit for a table and it was pretty loud inside. Service was okay, but they seemed a bit stretched when the rush hit.

Popped in on a Sunday evening. The bar team, Jack, Ellie, and Fin, were so lovely. Really friendly and attentive, which made for a relaxed and easy-going visit. A nice spot.

Lovely local pub, feels very welcoming. The new patio area is a nice touch, and I appreciate that they're dog-friendly. Staff were attentive, vibe was relaxed.

Family-friendly spot. The kids' meals are reasonably priced, and the staff were very attentive to our table. Makes for a straightforward, hassle-free dinner with the little ones.

Been here a few times. Staff are always friendly, no rush when you're picking your flavours. Makes it a nice, easy visit.

A nice spot for a drink in a lovely old building. The location is pretty good, right in the centre of town. The historical feel of the place is its main draw, really. It was a bit busy when we went, but that's to be expected.

Been coming here for lunch for ages. The food is always reliable, and the staff are just so friendly. It's a comfortable spot where you can have a quiet, easy meal. The tables are well-spaced, which I really appreciate.

Quick bite sorted. The breakfast looks just like the menu photo, and it's a proper fry-up. Good portion for the price. Got my food fast, which is key for a lunch break. Solid.

Lovely to sit in the garden on a sunny day. The inside is always lively but well-managed, which makes for a relaxed meal. The staff were very friendly and attentive.

Loved the mixed cold starter and baklava. But honestly, the free bread stole the show - best I've ever had! The server was so sweet. Perfect spot for a chill catch-up with friends.

Sarah was our server, and she was just lovely. Cheerful, attentive, got our order spot on with all our little tweaks. The wine list is decent, and she had a good suggestion for a glass to go with my steak. A solid, friendly spot.

Lunch menu steak and ale pie was incredible. Flaky pastry, rich filling. Honestly one of the best. Dinner's rib-eye with peppercorn sauce is fine, but that pie is the star.

Quick and friendly service, perfect for a catch-up with friends. They kept checking on us without being intrusive.

Lovely welcome and the room had a fun, quirky feel. Breakfast was tasty, but the portions were a bit on the small side for the price. Great location right in the centre of Ely, though.

Been coming here for years, it's a reliable spot for a quiet breakfast. The space is good, never feels cramped. Just wish they'd sort out the coffee, it's a bit weak for my taste.

A lovely Sunday roast. The Yorkshire puddings were huge and clearly homemade, which was a real treat. The roast potatoes had that perfect crisp edge. My only small note is that the chairs are quite hard, so it's not the place for a long, leisurely lunch.

The chicken liver was fantastic, and their house red was a surprisingly good match. The chocolate cake to finish was just right.

The eggs benedict was done just right, with the hollandaise on the side. A lovely start to the day.

A really nice local pub. The staff are super friendly and made me feel welcome straight away. I had the fish and chips, which was spot on. A comfortable spot to relax for a bit.

The vegan menu had a few solid options for starters and mains. Food was tasty enough, but the wine list felt a bit limited for pairing with plant-based dishes. The app is useful for rewards though.

The gluten-free tahini halva brownie. That's the one. Fresh, homemade, incredible texture. They've got plenty of vegan and GF options too.

Fish and chips on a Friday is a nice idea. The haddock was decent, batter was crispy. Good to see it's available for takeaway too.

The breakfast deal is solid. The eggs were cooked just right, and the bacon had a nice crisp to it. The hash browns could've been a bit hotter, but the taste was spot on. Good portion for the price.
