The classic tempura udon was solid. Broth had a nice, light depth. The crispy burdock tempura was a great textural contrast with the noodles. I had it with a cold sake, which cut through the warmth nicely. A bit pricey for lunch, but the combo worked.

The food is consistently good. Had the grilled salmon again, cooked just right. That's really all I care about.

The sweet aroma of fresh bread when you walk in is the best part. It smells like a real bakery. The pastries are good, but the bread is what you come for. The sourdough has a nice crust.

Been coming here for my cheat meal for years. The Major Curry is my go-to. Quick and filling for a lunch break. Prices have gone up a bit, but it's still a reliable spot when you need something fast.

Taco rice was the highlight, still steaming when it arrived. The seasoning was spot on, not too heavy. Loved the little Mexican decor touches inside too.

The air-conditioned room for dogs is such a thoughtful touch. Our pup was so content with the little treat they gave him. It felt nice to relax and eat without worrying.

The self-service ordering is handy. You just fill out a form for spice level and toppings. I got mine with extra veggies and medium heat. It's nice to have it exactly how you want. The system keeps things moving, even when it's busy.

The meat quality here is exceptional, especially the beef tongue, which is tender and flavorful. I highly recommend trying it if you're a meat lover!

The white fish tartare sandwich was so good! The fish was crispy, and the sauce had a nice tang. Perfect for a casual lunch with friends. A bit pricey for the size, but we all enjoyed it.

Stopped by for a break while walking along the river. The self-serve water station is a thoughtful touch for staying hydrated. The cafe itself feels cozy and functional. A good spot to pause and enjoy the view.

Been coming here for years, and the Iwai Mochi is always the reason. They grill it fresh every time, so the outside gets that perfect light crisp. The sweet bean paste inside is just right, not too heavy. It's my go-to with their tea.

Loved the privacy here. Tables are nicely spaced, you can actually have a conversation. The modern Japanese vibe is clean and calm, perfect for a quiet date night.

Small spot, just a few seats. Perfect for a solo lunch. Ordered the daily special—a simple grilled fish set. The fish was cooked just right, skin crispy. Rice was good quality. A quiet, focused meal.

The limited-time sukiyaki set was a good deal. The beef was tender, and the broth had a nice depth. Just felt the portion could have been a bit more generous for the price.

Nice little izakaya in the KITTE basement. The QR code ordering is super easy, which is great when you're dining solo. Happy hour is a plus.

Stumbled upon this spot by Tenjin-Minami Station. The set course was a great deal, and every dish, from the starter to the dessert, felt really well put together. A nice find!

Nice private rooms. Good for business dinners. Seasonal Japanese dishes looked great. Presentation was on point.

Simple breakfast spot, but the food is tasty. I like the counter seating, easy to pop in alone. They take cashless payments, which is handy. The terrace is nice on a quiet morning.

The gyoza are made fresh right there. You can see them being folded. The skin gets really crispy, and the filling is nice and juicy. A bit on the pricier side, but worth it for that texture.

The beef platter was a pretty good choice for sharing. I liked trying the different cuts, especially the fillet and the A5 with apple. The apple was a nice touch.

The burdock tempura in the udon was great, really added a nice savory depth to the broth. A solid, filling choice.

Been coming here for years. The paella is always huge, says it's for two but honestly feeds four of us comfortably. That's why I keep coming back.

The broth is so rich and complex, it deserves a good sake pairing. Really impressive depth of flavor.

Pistachio soft cream was the perfect end to my walk. Not too sweet, just creamy and smooth. I sat outside and it was gone in a minute.

Came for a relaxed glass of wine. The bar area is spacious, feels open. They have a solid list of Spanish wines, which I appreciate. Picked a Rioja that was just right for unwinding after a long day. The atmosphere is spot-on for that.
