TheForkUserThe food was delicately prepared and beautifully presented, with well-balanced flavours. Service was good and overall value for money from the fixed-price menu was excellent. the restaurant lacks a lite in atmosphere, especially when it was not busy on a Tuesday evening.
TheForkUserCharming crêperie located in Tuques. Very friendly service with a great choice of crepes. A must do if you find yourself in the area!
TheForkUserDelicious food and very kind staff and water. He had a lot of work as many people.Just three points: no more mise en bouche as last time…. It’s a pity and no aperitif biscuits. It’s definitely missing when you take a drink before the meal,Two little half bread toasts for the foie gras (when you got 3 nice slices it’s definitely not enough and you need to eat baguette.
TheForkUserNice place, gracious host, great food included a truffle pizza and appetizer, fantastic desserts and a dose of Calvados. Generous portions at a good price. Highly recommended for a nice and interesting meal.
TheForkUserWonderful regional food cooked and presented well. Great service. The pear/calvados Aperol spritz was a great way to start the meal. Thank you.
TheForkUserHad a great time at the restaurant, really pleased about the entire Normand dinner experience and hospitality. The meat was being grilled directly at the fireplace infront of you. Do try to arrive early as the tables infront of the fireplace are quite popular. Service was top-notch and friendly, I fully recommend this restaurant to anyone who passed by Cabourg.
TheForkUserWe had an excellent meal at Cote Resto, which was our second visit. The food was delicious. The steak was perfect. The service was a bit slow at first but overall not an issue. The restaurant can be a bit loud but that's not unusual for the type of setting. *Stars rating based on restaurant category and price point.
TheForkUserVery nice place with very friendly and smiley service! Our mussels (Normande for 15 euros and Cauchoise for 16 euros) were very nice and they were big portions! Nice carafe wine (50cl for 9 euros!) also!
TheForkUserWe enjoyed our meal in the garden. We initially chose the restaurant because of the combination of dog friendly environment and good quality food. We were not disappointed with either. If you have some walking shoes with you there is also a great circular walk, mostly off road on forest tracts.
TheForkUserThis restaurant is situated in beautiful surroundings. The staff were very welcoming and provided excellent service throughout our meal, explaining everything about our food and wine. Have eaten here twice, both times the menus give a good choice and the meals are exceptional.Would highly recommend a visit.
TheForkUserHad an excellent Sunday lunch at Augusto Chez Laurent. The food was wonderfully presented and very enjoyable. Service was attentive and friendly and the restaurant has a nicely relaxed ambiance. Definitely recommend and look forward to another visit in the future.
TheForkUserWe always visit when we are here. The food is beyond excellent and service professional and friendly. Would highly recommend
TheForkUserThe best restaurant of our three week Michelin tour of France! The service, food, presentation and atmosphere were outstanding. We were shocked to learn they had no stars yet, as overall they were better than all of the one and two star restaurants we visited. We changed our plans to return for a second helping the next evening!
TheForkUserAn excellent dinner before catching the ferry to Portsmouth. High quality food at a reasonable price. Interesting menu.
TheForkUserFantastic little Italian restaurant. Food and service were really good.
TheForkUserThe ambiance of the restaurant was perfect for our meal and being seated near the fireplace with two legs of lamb roasting added to the experience. The food was beautifully presented and all in all was a very enjoyable experience!
TheForkUserDeserves 2 Michelin Stars!!Only fly would be waiting time, ordered 2 coffees that never arrived. Sadly due to a 20 minute wait at the end of the meal didn't get to enjoy the petit fours in situ as had to leave. So great meal, service good but not great, mainly due to the coffee.Would I go back ? Hell yes!
TheForkUserDelicious indian food at ok prices! Their starters were a bit expensive so we didn't order. But their Chicken Madras was maybe the best i 've had! Their Chicken Vindaloo was great also! The only thing was that the rice portions were a bit small. But anyway the food was delicious! Friendly and fast service.
TheForkUserA very tranquil place with a beautiful view over the water. The meal was delicious and the staff were attentive and charming.
TheForkUserWe arrived at the restaurant on the day (our third visit that week) to find that our reservation had been cancelled by the restaurant in favour of a private event without any prior notification by the fork or the restaurant.
TheForkUserI don’t usually write reviews, but this place was fabulous! Don’t be fooled by it’s quiet(er) location, away from the bustling areas around the castle, b/c this is an excellent restaurant. We had 3 delicious galletes for dinner, then shared a crepe for dessert, one better than the next. Thank you for such a memorable meal!
TheForkUserThe restaurant is 2-minute walk from the Castle: excellent location. The food was of high quality and service was OK. Overall good value for money and I strongly recommend it!
TheForkUserIt was a restaurant where everything was ok but nothing was above the ordinary. Would I go again? probably not. I would look for somewhere a bit more interesting.
_TI***0yA lovely atmosphere with friendly staff and inventive cuisine. The food was stunning, although the wine prices were a bit high.
TheForkUserVisually a cool restaurant, service was also good. Unfortunately, our tuna steak was swimming in olive oil and was fried through, thus not really edible. Our complaint was smiled away by the waiter. We probably chose the wrong main course and would rather advise to choose a fish platter where not much can go wrong.
