The staff were really friendly and attentive. They took the time to go through the menu with us for dietary needs, which was helpful. Portions are decent for the price, so you get good value.

Great spot for a quick bite. Garlic bread was spot on, and the salmon roll was fresh. They made my pasta extra creamy, no fuss. Perfect for when you're in a rush but still want something decent.

The veggie roast was spot on - really well-seasoned gravy and the roasties were crispy. Portions are generous for the price. Burger looked good too, but I didn't try it. Solid pub grub.

The handmade chocolates were a real treat. Picked up a gift box for a friend, and the Ruby chocolate was a standout. Nice to see a thoughtful selection that pairs well with a digestif or a strong coffee. The white chocolate was a bit sweet for my taste, but overall a solid choice.

Found this cute spot in Buxton. The full English was spot on, and the giant pot of tea was perfect for sharing with my mates.

The food's got flavour, but if you like it hot, ask for extra spice. Their 'medium' or 'spicy' dishes can be milder than you'd think. I had the mapo tofu on a 'spicy' setting and it was more of a gentle warmth.

The curly-haired server was so warm and helpful. She took time to explain the menu and the fresh ingredients, which I really appreciated.

The staff here are so lovely. They're polite and attentive, but never hover or make you feel rushed. It's a really comfortable spot for a relaxed meal.

Came with a big group of 18. They handled it well, got all the mains out together. Didn't mind our balloons and cake either. Made it easy.

Popped in for a pint. The beer selection is seriously good – loads of real ales and craft kegs to choose from. The place is much bigger than it looks from the street, and the outside seating was perfect for people-watching. Lively spot.

Decent portions for the price. Had the grilled chicken plate, it was a proper feed. Couldn't finish it all. Good spot if you're hungry.

Grabbed a quick breakfast outside. Food came out fast, and the sausages were spot on - really good flavour. Everything felt clean and well-organised. Just a nice, simple start to the day.

Service was spot on. They took my nut allergy seriously, double-checked everything with the kitchen. Felt properly looked after, which is a relief when you're eating out.

Nice spot to catch the game. The big screen is great, and the place has a really chill, welcoming vibe. Just grabbed a quick bite and a pint.

Emma the manager always makes a point to say hello. Staff are efficient, food is solid for a post-work meal. Good spot near the office.

Walked in for bottomless brunch during their renovations. Staff were so lovely and squeezed us in despite limited seating. Drinks were topped up constantly, really efficient service. Made a potentially tricky visit feel easy.

The pizzas are a bit on the pricey side for one person, I'll admit. But the crust is always spot-on and the toppings are generous. I always leave feeling properly full.

A decent spot. It's clean and they've got plenty of tables, which is nice. The food arrives hot, which I appreciate. The fish and chips were pretty good, though the chips could have been a bit crispier.

Been coming here for years. Staff always friendly, makes it feel like a local spot. Good for a quick lunch when you're in a rush.

The family-run vibe here is so lovely. The staff are genuinely warm and attentive, which made the whole evening feel really relaxed. Food was colourful and tasty, especially the vibrant veggie plate we tried. A nice spot for a chilled dinner.

Been coming here for years. Their coffee selection is always on point, and they brew it just right every single time. That's what keeps me coming back – you know exactly what you're getting.

Stopped by for a takeaway. The paneer was really good, came out steaming hot. Menu had a few veggie options which was nice.

The veggie pie was really good, nice flaky pastry and the mash was spot on. Apple crumble was a solid follow-up.

Stumbled in for lunch. Place is quiet, nothing fancy. But the pasta? Generous portion, really tasty. Price was fair.

Been here a few times. Kae and the team are always on it, remember what you like. Makes a quiet dinner out feel a bit nicer. Service is solid, no fuss.

Lovely, bright space after the refurb. Had a nice meal with the family here. The lighting was just right, not too harsh. Felt relaxed and welcome.

Stopped in for a Sunday lunch post-renovation. The new decor is clean but feels a bit sterile, lacks the old warmth. Service was the main issue – had to wave down staff twice, once to order and again for cutlery. Food itself was fine, but the wait detracted.

Been coming here for years, always get the Friday fish and chips. It's the consistency that keeps me coming back - same generous portion, same crispy batter. A solid spot you can rely on.
