Modern and bright space, good for a relaxed meal after a late shift. Had a simple breakfast here last weekend, service was efficient. The coffee was decent, nothing fancy.

The butter chicken was lovely, rich and creamy. A nice touch was the little chocolates they brought with the bill. The service was friendly and unhurried, which made for a relaxed evening.

Decent food at a fair price. The staff are really friendly. Had a simple lunch here, nothing fancy but it hit the spot. The place was a bit warm inside, but it was fine.

Decent value for a set lunch near the station. Had the king prawns and the sizzling lamb guvec. Everything came out quickly, which was handy. The toilets were clean, which is always a plus. A solid choice for a straightforward meal.

Been coming here for years. It's a proper local spot, the menu's huge. Food is always solid, nothing fancy but you get what you pay for. Staff know the regulars.

The set lunch is a solid deal. The crispy whitebait starter was a nice little bite. The dining room itself is really pleasant – high ceilings, lots of light, and the chairs are actually comfortable for a longer sit.

Nice spot for lunch. The separate bar area is a good touch, and they have a private room upstairs. Felt relaxed just sitting there.

First time trying Pakistani food and it was a pleasant surprise. The flavours were really well-balanced, not too oily or overwhelmingly spicy like I'd feared. Just a nice, straightforward meal.

The seafood and risotto are so good. Perfect for sharing with friends, we were all fighting over the last bite!

Lovely little shop in Churchtown village. They have a really nice selection of cheeses and cured meats. Picked up some local honey and loose leaf tea too. The loose tea could be a bit fresher, but it's a nice spot for a browse.

A lovely, relaxed spot for a leisurely lunch. I really appreciated how fresh and vibrant the ingredients in my salad were.

Kane's cooking is unreal. Every plate was bursting with flavour and looked so pretty. You can really taste the care he puts into it. My friends and I couldn't stop talking about the food all night.

Came across this place on a quiet Tuesday. The Big Bad Wolf Burger was the star – juicy patty, great bun. Nachos were solid, service friendly. A good, straightforward meal.

Been staying here for years, always book the family room. It's massive, and they keep it spotless. The full English breakfast is what keeps me coming back – always hits the spot.

Lesley and her team sorted out a minor order issue with such professionalism. Their wine list knowledge is a real asset.

King prawns starter and crab ravioli were top. That vanilla cheesecake though.

Management handled the safety protocols well without killing the vibe. Tables were spaced, staff wore masks, and it still felt like a normal dinner out. Efficient and sensible approach.

Had a nice dinner with friends. The food was pretty good, especially the pasta. Service was friendly, though a bit slow at times.

A really nice spot, the decor is lovely. It was pretty busy when we went, so we did have to wait a bit for a table. But you can see why it's so popular!

Cosy spot with lots of character. Found a quiet nook perfect for a relaxed evening. The staff were friendly and suggested a lovely local red that paired beautifully with the charcuterie board. A bit on the pricey side for the portion, but the wine selection made up for it.

The new team is doing a good job. Had a lovely cold Guinness with my steak pie - a proper pairing for a hearty meal. The sunset view from the garden was a nice bonus. Staff were on it.

Staff were very friendly and accommodating, especially with our dogs. They handled a special dietary request without any fuss. Good spot to unwind after a walk with the pets.

I really appreciated that they finished the main dish at the table. It let me see how fresh the ingredients were. The menu has a lot of vegetable options, which is great for me. My plate was colourful and everything tasted very garden-fresh.

Had the chocolate & strawberry pot and pistachio brownie. Both were spot on. The cafe itself is quiet and comfortable, good for a quick coffee meeting.

The Sunday all-you-can-eat is a good deal. The Pad Thai was spot on, noodles had that nice chew. Massaman curry was rich, the beef tender. You can tell the dishes are made fresh.

The birthday cake was a lovely touch, and it paired nicely with their house red. A thoughtful gesture.

Had a lovely catch-up here with friends. The starters were good, but the main course was the real star – the lamb was so tender! The atmosphere was relaxed, perfect for a long chat. A bit on the pricier side, but we all left happy.

Been here a few times. They've got a massive drinks list, loads of whiskies and rums. I usually stick to a simple G&T, but it's nice to have the choice if you fancy something different.

The fish is so fresh, you can taste the quality. The new owners kept the same high standards, which is a relief. Really appreciate the focus on simple, clean ingredients. The welcome was warm, but the portion felt a bit small for the price. Still, a solid spot for a healthy meal.

Popped in on a drizzly afternoon. The place is cosy, good for that kind of weather. Coffee was spot on – really well roasted and brewed. Just what you want when it's grey outside.
