TheForkUserThe service was incredible. We had two servers helping us out, explaining the dishes (what made them local and what made some of them more modern), and making us feel welcomed. The ambience was a little different than expected but just because it was calmer, not because it was bad. The spaghetti assassini are an absolute must-have, an absolute reference for the dish.
TheForkUserI live in Bari now, I am from London where service is the key! I am a big believer in this. Often it’s very hard to find a welcoming services here in Bari. With your restaurant I felt welcome, from the moment we stepped in to the moment we left.
TheForkUserit's a lovely restaurant where you can enjoy good seafood dishes. Personally, I didn't enjoy the tuna tartare because they added something like lemon or orange juice to it. Other than my personal preference, I think the rest of the dishes were superb, I highly recommend it
TheForkUserGreat pizza with very high quality ingredients. In addition, also a very good selection of local artisanal beers. The stuff is also very friendly (they helped us to find a solution for changing our 9 month old boy). Certainly recommended
TheForkUserA small cafe with a friendly and helpful staff. Limited menu but enough choices that it is easy to find things to enjoy. Desserts were especially delicious
_TI***2xThe atmosphere is warm and inviting, with professional service that enhances the dining experience. The appetizers and pizza are consistently top-notch, making it a reliable choice.
TheForkUserThe staff and the food were fabulous.I had the lamb and it was melt in mouth.I am glad there were no cameras in the restaurant as I would have been caught licking the plate
TheForkUserThe food was very tasty and nicely presented. Staff were very welcoming and friendly, and helped us choose the best options. Prices were very reasonable, and lots of the dishes and sauces are vegan friendly. You can also sit on swings to eat, which were more comfortable than I expected!
TheForkUserVery interesting a la carte menu combining some typical Puglian ingredients in imaginative and unexpected ways. Desserts were also delicious and very beautifully presented, some with unusual flavours which worked very well. Good selection of wines with reasonably priced options. Helpful and attentive service made the meal special.
TheForkUserI had the pleasure of dining at Varietà recently, and it was a fantastic experience. The octopus was expertly cooked—tender and flavorful, with a delightful char that made each bite memorable. The tuna was equally impressive, fresh and perfectly seasoned, showcasing the chef's skill. The service was attentive and friendly, adding to the overall enjoyment of the meal. I highly recommend Varietà for anyone craving Italian dishes. I can't wait to return!
TheForkUserAbsolutely fab, we visited 3 times on our trip, would definitely go again. Lovely food, great staff and very reasonable prices.
TheForkUserNice dinner. Grilled octopus was very good. Sea bass was also good. Looks to raw seafood options on the menu as well. Many dishes often come with raw seafood. Service and server was great. Overall nice dinner.
TheForkUserGreat food! We loved the pizza!
TheForkUserDefinitely worth a visit, awesome service, generous hospitality, they are eager to please and accommodate. Their specialty is focaccia sandwiches and they are great at it. Local flavors galore. Will come back again, 100%! Thank you!
TheForkUserWe’re vegetarians and we had many great options. The Melanzane alla parmiggiana and the the vegetarian board were amazing. The list of wines and beers is incredibly long, it’s difficult to choose from but they help you with that.
TheForkUserIt is a small osteria with just a few tables and definitely the locals eat here. There were couples having lunch and they were very familiar with the staff which are very friendly, helpful and polite. The food was very good, we bad cozze saute, grilled octopus with white sauce, shrimp pasta in zucchini sauce and also another dish of seafood pasta in tomato sauce (paccheri allo scoglio). We also had a few glasses of ice cold Falanghina white wine which was a great match for the marvelous food. Very nice place, I highly recommended it!
TheForkUserA very nice place in the old town of Bari with awesome crafted beers and great food. It wortha a visit whenever you are in town
TheForkUserThe owner of the restaurant was very friendly, the ambience of the restaurant was a home which gave us a warmth feeling, I had issues while paying with gift voucher, the owner handled it very patiently, dedicating all her precious time. We will be back soon.
TheForkUserWe were here yesterday evening and it was great. The young waitress was very adorable and has taken care of us all the time. Due to our extra wishes, the chef has come out several times, to make sure he prepares it exactly the way we wanted it to be. He then served us our food with full enthusiasm and also came to us afterwards to make sure that we really liked it. The drinks from the bartender were very good and he himself was very friendly. All around a great ambience, great delicious food, great service and we can only recommend!
_TI***deThis restaurant is known for its fantastic truffle-based dishes. The tagliolini with truffle is addictive and a true delight for the palate!
TheForkUserThis amazing fusion is an expression of Italian love for food meets Azian view of preparation. We love to come back every time we are in Bari, and we haven’t been disappointed so fare. The outdoor ambient is unbeatable, if you are lucky and weather is on your side.
_TI***frThis place is a hidden gem! The combination of excellent food, friendly staff, and reasonable prices makes it a must-visit when in Bari.
_TI***dkThe service at this restaurant is impeccable! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, providing excellent recommendations that enhance the dining experience. It's clear they take pride in their work.
TheForkUserIt's in a busy restaurant, located on a narrow pedestrian street with other restaurants and the famous Portughese Patisseria (sp?) (for dessert) food is tasty, service attentive. Great for watching people & people watching you if you are seated outside. The cooks are located in the back & they are like actors in an intensive drama. Actually I wish I could have see them whip up the dishes as they seem to have everything coordinated like an orchestra.
