The menue is very interesting, good quality, the staff is friendly and fast. We were really satisfied in all aspects even I was nearly furious when searching the place and driving around like a fool. The tartare from gamberi wasn't perhaps the optimum as it would have needed more avocado dip. All the rest was to our absolute satisfaction. Also wine by the glass. Price/quality and discount were very good.

We were presented with a long stemmed, red rose in a beautiful arrangement and crisp cold white wine when we arrived. The quality of the food is consistently excellent, and is only surpassed by the warmth of the staff and Maurizio! We have come to feel like family. We will return again again.

TheForkUserThe dinner was quite good. I had the salmon tartare with Venus rice and avocado which was excellent. The grilled sea bass was excellent. The whole fish was grilled but they filleted it for you after upon request. My husband ordered the fixed menu. His Risotto was heavy and a large portion was served. There was one mussel and two scallops on the top. Very rich a large serving for his primo. He ordered the pork and potatoes which he enjoyed a great deal. Then he ended his meal with tirimisu, which was delicious. The service was lacking. It took us quite a while to get seated even though we had reservations and the dining room was pretty empty. There was no waiter out in the dining room for quite some time and one of the hotel employees came from the lobby bar to assist. One waiter was on for the whole evening service. Once the girl from the lobby helped, the server could catch up and he was quite nice. Definitely worth the trip!

TheForkUserMy son and I first found La Patriarca one sunny afternoon in 2007, and it quickly became a family favorite. The location (3 minutes from the exit of the autostrada and across the road from the cinema) was super convenient, the staff always kind and generous, and the traditional southern Tuscan food, simply delicious. For 9 years, we were happy, regular diners there. I am so so happy to write that La Patriarca hasn't changed a bit! Walked in to find the wood-fired grill ablaze, the waitress remembered my face (even though I'm 7 years older!) and the steak and roasted potatoes still as yummy and satisfying as I last remembered. It isn't fancy (that's Il Salotto upstairs) but it is exactly what typical cooking of the Val di Chiana should taste like. Absolutely recommended !!!

Prior reviews of this restaurant gave it high marks but none of the reviews had been recent. We decided to take our chances and were delighted that we did. The food was excellent and beautifully presented. Alessandro, the owner and chef, personally attended to our table and explained his various offerings. We sat inside because it was windy but, there is a nice outside dining area that filled up by later in the evening. We anticipate returning in the next few days and bringing friends.
