TheForkUserDelicious. We loved it there. Pasta was super nice and antipasti was great. Certainly recommended.
TheForkUserWell appointed restaurant, high quality service from the start throughout, high level choice of ingredients, well crafted combinations. A pleasure to engage around innovation in the kitchen
TheForkUserFood was excellent. We are so thankful. Our server did a great job in translation and we appreciated the effort she put in to understand exactly what we want.
TheForkUserFor lunch, we did not see any written menu nor price. Instead the waiter read the options to us: three choices for primo, secondo, contorno and dolce. We needed to ask for the price, which 22€ for the set menu excluding beverages. The dishes were typical Italian home cooking - not bad, but nothing special neither. We were not able to pay with credit card (even though it was possible to check out from the same hotel). At the entrance door, you could see three recommendations of Michelin - the most recent from 2015. Possibly eight years ago, the restaurant had the quality level of Michelin recommended places, but certainly not anymore in 2023!
TheForkUserGreat evening at Fisheasy. Sat outside on the terrace - lovely atmosphere with jazz soundtrack and garden lights. Warm welcome from host with good English and a great menu of fish dishes, everything we had was delicious and very reasonable prices. Would highly recommend.
TheForkUserTourist restaurant in a hotel. The food was very tasty and authentic. Terrace seating is available. Good value.
_TI***osIf you're looking for a cozy spot with good food made from local ingredients, this restaurant is a great choice. The prices are reasonable, especially considering the quality of the dishes.
TheForkUserFor us 7 from Zurich, London and Singapore, this was unquestionably the most amazing dining experience during our visit to this region. Elegant ambience, outstanding and flawless service, an extraordinary wine list and an exceptionally talented Chef. Every creation was a perfect jewel. They even sent a taxi for us 45 minutes away. Miss this and you will be doing yourself a great disservice.
_TI***13I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the welcoming atmosphere. The bruschetta and pici all'aglione were standout dishes. Definitely worth a visit!
TheForkUserOwner managed (8 generations!) property and restaurant. Amazing attention to detail. Service was impeccable, menu was creative and food execution was very good. David, who is the owner was happy to accommodate special requests and offered great ideas on how to execute them. The Syrah from own vineyard was a nice wine to accommodate our lunch. The atmosphere was special. We loved it. The next visit to the restaurant will include a stay at the amazing rooms.
_TI***nxIl Baldo is a gem for lunch in Perugia! The tagliata was fantastic, and the service is always top-notch. I can't wait to return!
TheForkUserThis place was highly recommended by a friend. We were only in Assisi for one night and was looking forward to dinner at Enoteca Mazzini. My husband and I loved the quaint and cozy feel of this place. We ate outside which was lovely. The portions were perfect... definitely left there full and happy. We had a nice glass of wine that was highly recommended. All in all a nice place that I suggest you try.
_TI***doThe ambiance is lovely, and the staff is extremely kind and attentive. The food was exquisite, especially the truffle dishes, which are highly recommended.
_TI***dlThe ambiance is warm and welcoming, making it a perfect spot for a cozy dinner. The owner is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and wine pairings.
TheForkUserThe amazing view was only matched by the amazing food and service. Really glad we booked here. Only issue was it set a high bar for the rest of the trip.
_TI***bpThis place is a hidden gem! The staff is young and friendly, and the menu offers a wide variety of delicious options. It's definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.
TheForkUserWe have been in Tuscany for 2 weeks following a week in Turin and Florence and have eaten very well everywhere but...Fiorentina was absolutely the best food we have had so far. We loved the combination of recognisably traditional Tuscan cuisine but combined with innovation, flavour twists, and modern additions whilst still using the produce of the area. Top dish for me was the black rice and truffle, really superb. Plus all the staff are so generous with their time. We have booked to return in a couple of days!
TheForkUserWe booked this only 20 mins before arriving for Sunday lunch. We sat outside with a good view of the Umbrian countryside. To start we shared octopus and potatoes and then both chose the lobster pasta. The starter was good and the main spectacular. The dish came with half a lobster in shell with the pasta in a rich seafood sauce. Will will definitely come back.
TheForkUserVery friendly team and the food was delicious. The filetto was our favorite dish. Overall we had a pleasant experience and we would suggest it to friends in town.
TheForkUserFantastic food!! The service was excellent! And a friendly atmosphere. I really recommend this special little place.
TheForkUserAfter winding, small roads leading up and up, we found Gualdo Cattaneo and the restaurant. It was well worth the exciting trip! Both the food and service are marvelous. Cooking the many meats on a roaring fire produced delicious, flavorful, tender results and the rest of the considerable menu was equally yummy. This is certainly a special, excellent restaurant.
