TheForkUserWe really enjoyed these fragrant curries from the Punjab & the light perfume of rose drifted through the restaurant. Although we chose 2 spicy curries, the jalfrezi & a vindaloo, we could still taste the tender chicken. Portions were generous & we really enjoyed the food, it was cooked from the heart. We also enjoyed the location & although you do not have a direct seaview, you have protection from any breeze - even in mid December it was comfortable sitting outside. The service was attentive & friendly & at under €15 for a starter, a basic curry with rice or bread, plus a drink, it was good value. We enjoyed our walk around Portixol & parking was not so difficult. A very enjoyable lunch.

TheForkUserI have eaten at the restaurant several times so made a reservation as they can be very busy. The food, as usual, was lovely, but the service really let it down. Our order was taken both for drinks and our meal together. We sat for ages before our drinks came and watched several other tables get their drinks even though their order had gone in after ours. Eventually our drinks came and almost immediately after our food arrived. Once we were finished our plates were taken away but nobody asked if we wanted desert. After some time I stopped a waiter to request a desert menu. We sat for ages before our order was taken. Again our plates were taken when we were finished. We wanted to order cocktails but were surprised when the bill came to the table. I had to explain we weren't finished and had not asked for the bill. We received the cocktail menu and waited ages for a waiter to take the order. To have a main meal, desert and cocktail took about 2 hours 20minutes. So don't go if in a rush.

TheForkUserAbsolutely up to the expectations. Because first impressions matter a lot: the atmosphere is wonderful. A heaven of peace, in the middle of the Tramuntana and beautiful Deia, full of inspiration from Joan Miró himself. Then, second impressions also matter: the starters (a tomato dish and a steak tartare) were just what we were expecting, and more. Main dishes (prawns and tuna) and dessert then followed, with the same quality. Last, but definitely not least, great service and very good recommendations (both for the wine, white Mallorcan, of course, and dessert, chocolate cake). Will definitely come back.

Secondly the cocktail of the day was in our opinion light on alcohol both when first served and more so when the ice all melted. However would happily give this a MUST TRY recommendation

TheForkUserI live in Inca and this is the place I bring all my friends if they visit. Esment might be a little pricy for Inca but they deliver quality food. The Restaurant has nice open northern european flair that is a good contrast to the dandy dark mallorquin Cellers that Inca is known for. I just love this place and only wished it would open for Dinner too from time to time.
