TheForkUserWe came here for the arosticini and they were sooo delicious!! So happy we found this restaurant! Great service and great price! Can't wait to go back :)
TheForkUserFantastic pasta & wine ! Really friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed it. Desserts were delicious too. Great local restaurant - would recommend!
TheForkUserTheir food is Delicious food, arrosticini, eggplants, fiore di zucca, suppli, carpaccio, focaccia. I would recommend arrosticini for.kids they will love it
TheForkUserNothing you order here is going to be wrong. Everything in their menu is absolutely delicious, and we highly recommend reading about the history of this neighborhood before sitting down and probably one of the most important places in the world. It is a special experience. This restaurant is owned by two brothers, and one is kosher and dairy free whereas the one right down the street is not. So, you have a lot of choice. We loved it so much. It was such a special and moving dinner, between the delicious food and embracing the heartbreaking history – it is an experience that you really should not miss. Afterwards, you can cross the bridge into Travestere for a stroll.
TheForkUserAs Casa Prati was our first experience with The Fork, we went back after four years. The restaurant has a nice interior and we enjoyed a warm welcome. We selected some local appetizers (fiori di zucchini and polpette di melanzane) a main dish and some side dishes. The service was very (too) fast, so it took some effort to finish the abundant portions. The quality was really good. Not too much refinement in the presentation but tasteful food. Casa Prati had quite an extensive wine list too, with lots of wines at very affordable prices. A really good restaurant anyway.
TheForkUserWe discovered a new delicious spot in Rome. Excellent service and a friendly staff. All the dishes were beautifully prepared. The Tartare di manzo con melanzane alla norma, stracciatella di bufala e pasta kataifi was perfectly made—the meat melted in the mouth and was hand-cut. The Controfiletto di manzo (250g) con senape al miele, served with roasted potatoes, was an incredibly tender beef cut.For dessert, we had the Cheesecake Frutti di bosco / Pistacchio, which was also delightful. It’s rare to find a restaurant with such good cuisine in a highly touristy area. The dining space was small and quite simple in decor, but the quality of the food more than made up for it.We will definitely be coming back!
TheForkUserExcellent neighbourhood restaurant, interesting menu, tasty, beautifully presented plates and a great wine list, with excellent service
TheForkUserGreat lunch experience! We had a great meal here and was very worth the journey outside of the center of Rome. If you love Seafood make sure you visit this restaurant!
TheForkUserIncredible food and great service, everything was on point and the waiter was very attentive to our needs with recommendations as well.
TheForkUserBeing welcomed with a small glass of prosecco was a simple but warm touch. Our server Fillipo really made the experience great for us - he was very friendly and attentive but not overbearing. Warm winter salad was a little weird for us - especially as I come from a chinese background. Other than that we enjoyed all the other items we ordered.
TheForkUserThey have a qr code menu yet no wifi. They didn't include that the 50% off doesn't include the all you can eat option, so we traveled far for that... We still considered the 30eur ayce price even though other places are around 24 eur for dinner, but the variety presented in the menu didn't seem to justify the price. At least the staff spoke English. Finally we ordered a poke each, the portion was small to moderate, and the wakame in the poke was really acidic/alcoholic tasting. In the end they also told us about the service fee extra, which is ok to pay but we should be informed in the beginning.
TheForkUserBasically, a very good restaurant that also serves pizza (that we didn’t try). Had a lovely medium rare steak with porcini mushrooms. Very nice experience
TheForkUserExcellent food, quiet, Ideal for a family or for couples (there were both of them). Typical Roman Food and sea food. We tried the seafood and twitter was tasteful. Portions are Abundant
TheForkUserThe food was delicious. The sea food carpaccio was one of the best dishes I’ve ever had and all the dishes had plenty of flavor. Friendly and quick service.
TheForkUserLoved the food and the people that are working there ! Excellent quality of food from the starter to the delicious main finishing up with a super tender meat ????. Thank you for having us we will be back soon . Ps the homemade amaro is superb ????
TheForkUserThank you Federico for the discovery of your meat philosophy. We really appreciated the restaurant, the food, your suggestions, the vibes and our conversation. We highly recommend anyone that wants to taste the best meats in the world (wagyu) to go at Sarkos. - Samuel
TheForkUserReally nice food. Very disappointing service. Slow, ineffective and chaotic. May have been ‘on the night’ but would not go back to check…!
TheForkUserI loved the food! The appetizers were delicious, and the fish was so tender. The waiter picked out the perfect wine – amazing! The place is gorgeous, beautiful design.
