Adana kebab was solid. Well-seasoned, properly charred. Cozy little place for a quick bite. Nothing fancy but it hit the spot.

Stumbled in here without checking reviews first. Got the margherita and honestly it was solid — crispy bottom, good amount of sauce. Place was busy but service stayed quick. Menu had some other stuff I'd try next time. Nothing fancy, just a decent pizza spot.

Decent bánh mì, pretty close to what I had in Vietnam. Bread was nice and crusty, filling well balanced. Just note it's cash only, no card. That caught me off guard a bit. Still, a solid spot if you're in the area and craving one.

Came here on a Saturday night without a reservation and barely got a table. The mixed salad with champignons was fresh and the dressing was light, really good. Borscht had a lot of beef in it, hearty. Place was busy but not too loud. Just make sure you book ahead for weekends, we got lucky.

Been coming here for a while now, and the vegan pizza keeps me hooked. Quick service, friendly staff, no fuss. Just a solid spot when you don't feel like cooking. Maybe not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. Still my go-to for a casual bite.

Service was a mixed bag. One waiter was super friendly and quick, the other basically ignored us. Food and drinks were solid though. Just wish the service was more consistent.

Nice spot for a warm evening. Sat outside, staff was really friendly. Food did the job, nothing crazy but solid. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

Nice selection of meat, even some cuts I hadn't seen before. Staff knew their stuff when I asked about the specials. Menu's small but covers enough.

Came here with a bigger group (9 of us) and honestly the wine list is insane—literally like a book. We ordered a bunch of dishes and everything was solid. Place is super cozy but gets loud fast, so not the spot if you want quiet conversation. Still, good for a fun night out with friends. 🍷

Cozy spot with a solid wine list. Staff actually knows their stuff and helped me pick something I wouldn’t have chosen myself. Prices run a bit high, but the glass quality made up for it. Seats by the window were comfy enough to stay for another round.

The pizzas are proper size and the thin crust was done well. Had the margherita, pretty solid choice for a casual dinner in Essen. Place was busy but we got a table fine. Service decent, nothing to complain about. Would come back if I'm in the area.

The interior is all warm wood, even the bathroom looks nice. I don't speak German but the staff was super patient with me. Escargot was buttery and garlicky, burrata was creamy. Just wish the bread came earlier, I was starving.

The tiramisu alone is worth stopping by for. Really creamy, not too sweet, and the coffee flavor comes through nicely. Had it after the pasta, which was solid too. Place was busy but not chaotic. Prices felt fair for what you get. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

Nice spot, the interior is really something. Had a few dishes I haven't seen on other Italian menus around here. Service was on point too.

Gyros was solid, easily one of the better ones I've had in Viersen. Place was busy but my order still came out fast. Portion size was generous too.

Came here for the first time and honestly the sushi was super fresh. Big portions too, which I didn't expect. Place is tiny though, so we waited a bit for a table. Not mad about it though.

The owner came over to say hello and helped us pick our dishes. That was nice, didn't feel rushed at all. Food was fresh, especially the fish. Cozy inside, warm lighting. We sat near the window, chairs were comfortable enough to stay a while. A bit noisy when it got fuller, but nothing too bad. Pleasant evening overall.

Came in on a busy Saturday, no reservation. Staff still got me seated fast, which I appreciated. Had the tagliatelle al ragù — decent, rich sauce, pasta cooked right. Not the best Italian I've had around here, but solid for the price. Place is loud though, so don't come expecting a quiet dinner.

The salmon bowl (#41) was really good, that sauce made it. Place gets busy though, so book ahead. Cash only, which caught me off guard.

The food here was really good—I had the truffle pasta and it hit the spot. The team was super friendly and actually took time to explain the wine pairings, which I appreciated. Menu’s a bit pricey though, but I guess you pay for the quality. Would come back for a special occasion.

I ordered the schnitzel by accident—meant to get the bratwurst—and the waiter noticed my confusion right away. He swapped it out before I even asked. No awkwardness, just a quick fix. That kind of patience means a lot when you don't speak the language. Food was solid too, but the service really stood out.

The cold dishes here are really fresh. I had the lamb skewers too, nicely spiced. Noodle soups are a bit pricey for what they are, but the portion is generous. Good spot if you want proper Shaanxi flavors in Cologne. I'd probably just stick to the starters next time.

Came here a few times now. Second floor has a nice vibe, food's always solid. Only thing that bugs me is the men's room door—been broken for months. Kinda sloppy for a place that gets this busy. Still, I'll be back, just wish they'd fix that.

The currywurst was solid and the portion size hit the spot. Location’s great, lots of buzz around. Service dragged a bit, but the vibe made up for it.

Lovely little trattoria away from the center. The owner's wine pick was spot on, pasta had that real Italian touch.

Liked the interior, that’s for sure. Cappuccino was solid, not too bitter. Cakes looked good, didn’t try one though. Place was busy, good for people-watching. Maybe a bit loud for my taste, but fine for a quick stop.

The pork knuckle was spot on again, crispy skin and tender inside. Just remember it comes with fried potatoes, not mashed. Still a solid meal for what you pay.

Dropped by without a reservation, they still found us a table. Had the schnitzel, pretty solid. Staff was friendly, even helped with the menu since my German is rusty. Place got busy later, got a bit loud, but that's on us for coming at peak time. Prices fair for what you get.

The veggie pizza was really good—fresh ingredients, nice flavor. Place gets packed though, so expect a bit of a wait.

Been here twice now and the grilled octopus still stands out to me. Tender, slightly charred, exactly how I like it. Also tried the mushrooms with shrimp this time—pretty solid combo. The bread with aioli is still the thing I'd come back for though. Place gets a bit busy around 7, but that didn't bother me much.
