Stopped by for a quick pizza and it hit the spot. Crust was nice and crispy outside, soft inside. Portion sizes are decent, you won't leave hungry. Price felt fair for what you get. Nothing fancy, just a solid casual place.

Simple, healthy plates and the bill never hurts. Been coming here for years and it stays consistent. Had a nice glass of Riesling with the grilled fish, worked well. Nothing fancy, just solid food at a fair price. Place gets busy around noon, so come a bit early if you want a quiet table.

The attention to detail at Yoshi is remarkable. From the exquisite plating to the thoughtful explanations of each course, it’s clear that the staff is passionate about providing a top-notch dining experience.

Everything I ordered was solid — the marinated grilled meat was the highlight. A few starter options you don't usually see in Germany. Service friendly, no complaints.

The Reibekuchen were properly crispy, not greasy at all. Really hit the spot. Wish there were a bit more on the plate though.

Been here a few times. The onion rings are the reason I keep coming back—still crispy, not greasy at all. Service stays friendly even when the place is full. That's something.

We stopped by for a late lunch and got a table right away. Dorota and Andreea were friendly, checked in just enough without hovering. Food came out fast — I had the schnitzel, it was decent, crispy and not greasy. Portion was fine for the price. Nothing fancy, but solid. Wouldn’t mind coming back if I’m in the area again.

The sushi really is top-notch for Bochum—fish tasted properly fresh. Presentation was clean too. Good spot to bring a sushi newbie, though I wished their sake list had a couple more options.

The nacho burger really stood out — that cheese was something else. Cool music in the background too. Nice spot to hang out with friends.

Burgers are always solid here, fresh buns and decent meat. Fries are good too. Portion size is fair for what you pay. Nothing fancy, but it does the job when you don't feel like cooking.

Prices are fair for what you get, though coffee isn’t included with the breakfast buffet. That caught me off guard a bit. Still, the food was solid and I left full. Good spot if you’re grabbing brunch with friends and don’t mind paying extra for your caffeine fix. ☕️

The vitello tonnato was melt-in-your-mouth tender, pasta cooked just right. Service stayed friendly even when it got busy.

The breakfast spread looked really nice — fresh rolls, good sausage, everything arranged neatly. They’ve got a decent drink menu with some regional stuff too. Staff stayed on top of things even though it was busy. Only thing: the coffee wasn’t quite my style, but that’s personal. Still, a solid spot for a morning meal.

Came here on Christmas Day since not much else was open. Food took a while and they forgot one dish, but the green curry with seafood and pad thai were actually tasty. Prices were fair too. Would come back with friends for a casual dinner, just maybe not on a holiday 😅

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Got the mixed grill plate, huge portions. Honestly could feed three people. Prices are decent for what you get. Place is pretty basic inside, nothing fancy. But food came out fast and hot. Solid spot if you're hungry and in a rush.

The turkey steak was surprisingly good — I’m not even a steak person. Staff spoke English well, which helped. Layout felt a bit awkward, but the vibe was warm.

The seating area is pretty comfortable, I’ll give them that. We sat by the window and it wasn’t too cramped, which is rare for this area. Food was decent, nothing crazy, but the vibe made it easy to stay for a while. Just wish the music wasn’t so loud, kinda killed the relaxed mood.

The birch forest decor really got me—those tall white trunks made the whole place feel calm, almost like eating outside but without the wind. Veggie burger options were solid, plenty to pick from. Staff left me alone enough but checked in at the right moments. Just wish the lighting was a bit warmer, felt slightly clinical near the back. Still, a nice quiet spot.

Stopped by for a quick dinner. Staff knew the menu well and took time to explain a few dishes without rushing me. Grilled Madras chicken was solid—good spice level, not dry. Place was busy but service stayed efficient. Fair price for what you get. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

Decent spot for dinner. Had the venison special—cooked properly, sauce was rich without being heavy. Ingredients tasted fresh, not the usual German heavy stuff. Service was fine, friendly enough, though we did wait a bit for the bill. Cozy room, not too loud. Wouldn't mind going back if I'm in the area.

Came here for the first time and the pho bo really stood out. Broth was deep and rich, noodles cooked just right. The bun cha was solid too, though the portion could be a bit bigger. Place has a nice cozy vibe with lanterns, staff were friendly. Would go back for that pho.

The bouillabaisse was really good, and you can't beat the spot right next to the Hyatt Regency. Staff were friendly from the start, though the seating felt a bit cramped.

Good people and good food. Very proactive to propose Greek food . The food was fresh and well cooked following the traditional plate of the country.I have enjoied.

The buffet spread was solid—plenty of pão de queijo and pastel, and the meat came around fast. For the price, you definitely get your money's worth.

Been coming here for years. The Kölsch is still as fresh as the first time I tried it, straight from the barrel. That alone keeps me coming back. The old building and rustic vibe are a nice bonus, but honestly, I'm here for the beer. Never disappoints.

The Sunday schnitzel really is the thing to get here—crispy, not greasy, and the portion was huge. I sat on the terrace and it was nice, weather held up. Staff were friendly, pretty laid-back. Only thing is it got a bit busy later, but that's fine. Would come back for that schnitzel alone.

The steaks were cooked to perfection. The waiter was attentive and funny. Best steak I’ve had for a long time. Had prawns and calamari for starter also delicious. Would highly recommend as the atmosphere was great.

The pork knuckle was the real deal. Crispy skin, tender meat, proper mustard on the side. That’s what I came for. Place gets packed, so you need a reservation. Only thing—sitting near the grill gets uncomfortably warm. But the food itself? Solid.

The goose was really good—crispy skin, tender meat, seasoning just right. Wine pairing was solid too, didn’t break the bank.
