TheForkUserSo glad we found this restaurant like one does just wandering the streets knowing Venezia as well as we do. Having lots of rain lovely it was only a few minutes walk where we were staying at Ca del Brocchi. It has gone in my notes of which I write up in every city we visit.

TheForkUserWe booked without much research, and it turned out great. They have both regional dishes and dishes that most people generally asaociate with Italian cuisine. One of us is vegetarian, and they even had a local, traditional, vegetarian dish (hard to find elsewhere). The staff was knowledgeable when it came to wine pairings for the food.

TheForkUserNice place, especially dining in the outside terrace. Food was good quality and quite “homely”. Service suffered from lack of coordination and (probably) lack of staff as I guess they didn’t have enough personnel (due to the holiday period?). Overall ok.

TheForkUserThe food was really good and is a change compared to regular Italian food. The service was nice and friendly. I called to confirm the reservation and the staff was accommodating. The only downside is the location on a fairly busy street in front of a bus stop, but the food was what mattered the most to us and we had a good experience.
