Lovely little coffee spot &mdash; the owners were super friendly and even chatted with us in Portuguese. Pastries were fresh, too. Would happily go back for another espresso.

Stopped by for a quick dinner. Garlic shrimp were solid, scallops cooked right. Service was on point, no complaints there. Felt like a proper local spot, not a tourist trap. Would go back if I&#39;m in the area again.

The octopus with garlic and parsley was seriously good, so tender. We sat near the kitchen and watched the chef work, that was cool. Staff even tried to teach us how to say the dish name in Portuguese, we butchered it but they were patient. Fun spot for a casual dinner with friends. Maybe a bit busy but fine.

The owner picked a nice wine to go with our food. Sat by the window with the river view, pretty hard to beat. Place has that simple family-run feel, nothing fancy but comfortable.

Stopped by for a Bolo Rei and a coffee. Pastry was fresh, interior is nicer than most places in the area. Service was quick. Prices are a bit high, but fair for the quality.

The terrace really is something else &mdash; right on the river, quiet enough to just sit there with a coffee and a pastry and let the afternoon slip by. Coffee was fine, nothing to write home about, but those pastries? They did the heavy lifting. Would&#39;ve liked a better wine list to go with them, honestly. Still, hard to beat that view.

The calzone was solid and filling, and the price felt right for what you get. A nice glass of red would&#39;ve made it even better.

The lamb was properly tender, fell right off the bone. You can tell they use the wood-fired oven properly, gives everything that smoky edge. Place was pretty packed when I went, so seating felt a bit tight, but the food made up for it. Would come back for that lamb again.
