We chose the 'terra' set menu, and every dish was executed with great care and finesse that really demonstrated the creativity, skill and hard work the chefs put into constructing the dishes. The service was attentive (but not overly so!) and each dish was accompanied with a helpful explanation. And when the great flavours are coupled with the beautiful surroundings and scenery, it's a real treat for the senses.

There was also a misunderstanding about paying through the app which led to a lot of back and forth and kind of ruined my lunch. It turned out the restaurant did not know the feature was activated. Every time someone from the larger table went for a smoke (often) or got up to talk to someone at the other end of the table I got a derriere in the face or bumped as they passed. The room was small. The larger party were very loud (the first 2 women to arrive drowned out our conversation). The bumping and loudness were the reason I only gave a 3 for ambiance. We left before dessert because I couldn't take the bumping anymore. Very unfortunate as I wanted to try one of the desserts. Would I go back? Probably....but not in that small room!

The problem is that it was my birthday dinner with my family, and this is not the first time that this has happened with bookings coming from TheFork.Everybody knows how discounts work everywhere, but some restaurant owners are trying to play a smart card here, saying that the desserts are not included, and besides we insisted that was not right, he (the manager or owner) prefers to have an unsatisfied customer and receive a bad review, than to loose 9€.TheFork should pay more attention and punish restaurants with that attitude.
