TheForkUserWe booked a table at 14:00 but we were guided to the table at 14:15, probably because yesterday was mother's day. The food is good and abundant. We will return next time if we happen to be around.
TheForkUserVery simple location in the outskirt of Milan , just a bit noisyTypical regional restaurant with dishes and recipes of the Abuzzo regionGood food quality , well prepared, with the peculiarity of the presence of Saffron as ingredient throughout the menu , desserts included.Outstanding "Arrosticini" and homenade pasta dishes , definitively advisable
TheForkUserAlways an enjoyable experience. We always dine here before our flight home from Malpensa airport. Food is delicious, portion sizes are large, staff is friendly, and a nice ambiance. Restaurant is located in a small town not far from the airport, making it a premium choice. Pizzas, pastas as well as seafood specials. Looking forward to returning soon.
TheForkUserThe food is good, but we didn’t like the fact they put too much pressure on you while you’re eating as for example we had the table from 12:30 until 2pm for 9 people so of course we needed some time to order and we were pretty fast doing so. At the some time they needed time to cook the food we ordered so long story short we started eating around 13:20ish and every 10 minutes they kept coming asking If everything was ok that is not that bad but also stressed people out as they felt they needed to eat in a rush and in fact just after a few minutes we were done they came in and started clearing the table and by 13:59 we were out!
TheForkUserIt was not for the first time , their delicious traditional menu and spectacular service made us go back. The lady who gently served us rememberedus and made us feel at home. Will definitely go back
TheForkUserIn MIlan they may believe to be all gourmets and restaurant critics. What a miserable life they must have.Great place, great food, great service. A stone's throw from the Holiday Inn (which features free parking outside). Food and aperitivo before the main dishes to enjoy.
TheForkUserBest restaurant ever, 100% fresh and quality food. Raw fish was outstanding and tasted of seawater. I wanted to try all the main courses as all of them deserved to be tasted. Wine selection is also decent.
TheForkUserThis is such an underrated gem of Milan food scene! The food was incredibly, reasonably priced, and the service was impeccable. This was a top 5 dining experience for me. I don’t normally write reviews but this place deserves it. We had such a delightful dinner here and will be thoroughly recommending to friends and family who visit!
TheForkUserVery good Abruzzese food. Our Tagliatelle with lamb ragout were delicious, and so the arrosticini of liver, which I did not know. Good Montepulciano d'Abruzzo wine; no Jannamico liqueur but a good gentian.
TheForkUserWe came across the restaurant by chance and have been absolutely amazed. We definitely will come again to enjoy the delicious unique food.
TheForkUsertop food and service, not the cheapest but amazing food.
TheForkUserFantastic food, great staff, really made our party feel very welcome. Will be back
TheForkUserExcellent range of foods as part of a 'tasting' experience, well presented and at very reasonable cost (as was the wine). Hardly a criticism but the quantities did almost defeat us - one 'degustation' meal would have been enough for the two of us !
TheForkUserExcellent food and lovely staffThe room acoustics is strange though: it is difficult to hear each other across the table due to the overall background noise
TheForkUserThe place on the outskirts and inconspicuous from the outside, but once you step inside you immediately feel the atmosphere. It is an antique villa arranged into a very cosy restaurant. It is worth coming for the very good pizzas, both traditional and more sophisticated gourmet. It is a nice place to spend a date as well as a family dinner. Much recommended.
TheForkUserall was perfect.... only note .. don't fix early booking time (7:30 PM) if you want to eat meat .... they needs some time to prepare the enviroments.
TheForkUserFood was old - couldn't eat it.
TheForkUserWe have been yesterday night at this restaurant to have a family dinner. It was so nice, warm and quiet, was a beautiful atmosphere. The waiter took us to our table, and give us the menu, but first asked if we want water. Then we ordered and the food came relatively fast, considering the fact that the place was full (Saturday night). All the food was delicious, except my dish, which I actually came for, I mean "tagliata di Cavallo". I checked the pictures other people posted and I was so curious to try this, but maybe I was unlucky. Anyway, I ate it, so there was no problem. This was the only thing that I didn't agree with, that's why I checked only 4 out of 5 stars for the food. The rest of the evening was nice, we had a bottle of good wine, pasta, rice and tomahawk steak. The staff was extremely friendly with my little kids, who ran everywhere. Maybe we will come back soon to again the "tagliata". By the way the prices are little bit pricey, but with this app, it's worthy. Thank you and all the best!
TheForkUserA fun, generous and a bit out of the ordinary experience. The menu was a playful and creative composition of tastes, and the wine package was excellent. Will definitely recommend
TheForkUserExcellent staff. Very tasty food. Fair prices. Suitable for both families and singles. Strongly recommended. You get a discount if you make a reservation through trip advisor. Don’t miss this great place.
TheForkUserIf this isn't the best meal I've had in Italy, then it's very, very close to the top. I spent 3 weeks touring Rome, Umbria, Marche, Veneto, and the wine regions near Florence last year, and 2 weeks touring rural Piedmont and the Tuscan coast this year. This hidden gem was just a 12 minute drive from the Milan airport and we stopped in for dinner on our last night in Italy. The meal blew away absolutely everything our professional tour guides had arranged. The steak tartare with shaved black truffles sitting on a small bed of creamy cheese sauce was just incredible, maybe the best tartar I've ever had. The fried pumpkin and porcini mushrooms were also very, very good. The octopus soup my companion ordered was good, but the Veal Osso Buco with Risotto alla Milanese was the star of the show. The wine list wasn't extensive, but it was good, and the owner recommended an off-menu Tuscan sangiovese for the osso buco and an off-menu botrytized white for the pumpkin tiramisu dessert. Amazing!
TheForkUserEnjoyed our meal here. All four of us were happy with everything we had. Good wine. Great bread. And good set. Would recommend if anyone is visiting Milan and staying nearby.
TheForkUserExcellent service from the minute we arrived. The whole team come across as passionate about the food prepared and served there. Great wine list too.
