The portions were honestly huge for what you pay. I got the grilled fish and it came out still sizzling, really well seasoned. Staff left me alone until I actually needed something, which I appreciated. Only thing, the place got a bit loud by the time we finished. But for the price, it's solid.

The grill mix was massive — we couldn’t even finish it, but everything tasted great. Cozy vibe, staff were friendly. Honestly, for the price, it felt like a steal. Just wish we’d come hungrier. 😅

The owner remembered our order from last time, so sweet! 😊 Great spot for a casual catch-up with friends.

The 5-course surprise menu was really well done, especially the way they balanced flavors. Staff were friendly too. Only thing is the portions are a bit small, but for the price it's fair.

The crispy duck salad was the standout — so much texture and flavor in one dish. Staff let us take our time, no rush at all. Place feels genuine, not trying too hard. Glad we stumbled in here while wandering around the center. Would come back just for that salad again.

The fish was cooked really well—flaky and juicy, exactly how I like it. The lobster supplement is worth it if you're feeling fancy. Only tiny thing: the sommelier seemed a bit distant when I asked for a recommendation. But the food alone made me leave happy 😊

Very nice setting and good food with friendly service. Highly recommended!

Stopped by for lunch on the terrace, nice view of the boats. Food was decent, staff friendly enough. Menu's a bit small though.

Truffle pasta was solid, steak cooked right. Place was busy but not chaotic. Got my food quick enough for a lunch break. Service did the job without hovering. Price is a bit on the higher side for what you get, but the pasta makes up for it. Good spot if you need something decent and fast.

The pizza bowl was a nice surprise—soft bread with a fresh salad on the side. I liked that the greens weren't soggy, just crisp enough. Service was attentive without hovering. Sat near the window, decent light for a weekday lunch. Would come back for that bowl again.

The terrace is still the best spot in town on a sunny day. Food's good, just don't be in a hurry for the bill.

Tried the chicken roll for the first time today. Honestly way better than I expected. Lots of protein, not as heavy as the kapsalon. That thing is a calorie bomb though, still tasty. Place was busy but I got my food quick. Would grab this again if I'm in the area.

Service was quick and friendly, prices fair for what you get. House red was decent value. Not strictly authentic Italian but tasty enough. Open late Sunday, which helped.

The Beurshapjes were such a fun way to try a little bit of everything 😊 We grabbed a mix of meat and veggie ones to share, and honestly that worked out way better than ordering our own plates.

The terrace is lovely when it’s warm out. I got the Summer Meal and honestly everything tasted fresh and light. Service was quick too, which I didn’t expect since it was pretty busy. Just wish the portion was a bit bigger for the price. Still, nice spot to sit outside for a while.

The wild Alaskan salmon and avocado bagel had a solid amount of topping, avocado gave it that creamy touch. Sat outside facing the Conservatorium, nice spot to just chill with breakfast. Nothing fancy, but it worked.

Cozy place, cool interior. Lots of veggie and vegan stuff on the menu. Staff were really nice. The modern art on the walls is a nice touch. Solid spot if you're into that vibe. Just wish the music was a bit lower, got a little loud. But overall a decent meal.

Found this little place by the canal by accident. Flat white was honestly one of the best I've had in a while. Proper cups, sunny bench right by the water. Just sat there for a bit, watching the boats. Service was friendly too. Wish I lived closer, honestly.

The tasting menu kept surprising me — every plate looked like something you’d frame, not eat. Cozy vibe, modern without feeling cold. Staff knew their stuff, explained each course without rushing. Just wish the pacing was a bit quicker between dishes. Still, left feeling properly taken care of.

Decent food, friendly enough staff. Got a bit slow when it got busy, but for a quick cheap bite in the center it does the job.

The pistachio ice cream here is seriously good. Not too sweet, and you can tell they use real ingredients. Texture was smooth, no weird icy bits. I grabbed a cone on a warm afternoon and it hit the spot. Place is small, so don't expect to sit around. Price is fair for the quality though.

The kipfillet kapsalon was really good—meat nicely seasoned and the portion was big enough to share. Solid pick if you're hungry.

The bitterballen were the real deal. Crunchy outside, warm and gooey inside. Had the stoofvlees too, meat was properly tender. Beer was decent, nothing crazy. Place was busy but that didn't matter. Solid spot for a quick bite.

The cocktails were solid and the vibe is nice, but the food really is hit or miss. Nachos were great, my burger was kinda dry though.

The bacon-wrapped prawns were the highlight honestly. Cactus soup was a nice surprise too, pretty unique. I had the mixed grill and my friend got the tuna, both cooked properly. Place was busy but we got our food quick enough. Would come back for those prawns again.

Stopped by for a pint and something light to eat. The beer list is solid, plenty of proper ales. I had the salad with grilled chicken—greens were fresh, not wilted, dressing on the side which I appreciate. Staff let me take my time deciding, no rush. Just a decent, honest pub experience. Maybe a bit loud near the bar, but that’s part of the charm.
