TheForkUserPleasant grand cafe / brasserie style restaurant with good food and friendly staff. The only recommendation/advice for this restaurant would be to think about the layout of the restaurant as it is not logically laid out, few 'corners' have been created for guests.
TheForkUserDe Hoff’nar is in a beautiful location and it felt like we were in the countryside rather than a city. The dinner was excellent!
TheForkUserSuper nice atmosphere! The location is suitable (center of Waalwijk), friendly service, beautiful and warm atmosphere, incredibly delicious and big portions. Recommend the place plus will visit again.
TheForkUserAn inconspicuous quiet restaurant in Nijmegen. A little fiddly to park as there is no dedicated parking lot with the restaurant. We went for our 20 years wedding anniversary and ordered 4 course dinner with accompanying wine for me. The front part of the restaurant is quiet and classy. We were sat at bay window against the street. It is quite chilly due to single glazed windows and the the heater is not on yet. The service is excellent. The waiters are very frendly, attentive and knowledgeable about the dishes. The wine suited the taste of every dish. We had a very enjoyable evening.
TheForkUserEvery detail was well organized by Robert. I’m very impressed with the welcome, ambience, food, cleanliness and everything. I and my girlfriend chose the four course dinner and liked every bit of food. The tapas platter was a highlight. Would go back.
TheForkUserGastvrije ontvangst en bediening. Geweldige verhouding prijs/kwaliteit. Relaxte sfeer.Sometimes you want to goWhere everybody knows your nameAnd they're always glad you came
TheForkUserAlthough the quality and taste of the food was very good, unfortunately the service was very poor. The menu was only available on the website, and the waiting time was longer than one hour for 4 people. The food was served to each one separately, the first had already finished eating when the last just received it.
TheForkUserEnjoyed the cosy atmosphere and the warm welcome.Besides this, the meals served were delicious and tasteful.I would really recommend this one!
TheForkUserNice salmon and mustard soup. Very attentive and super nice staff. The views were serene. Im sure we’ll go again. I can highly recommend this place.
_TI***44This restaurant is a hidden gem with a beautiful interior and a menu that offers a great balance of flavors. The prices are reasonable for the quality of food and service provided.
TheForkUserOverall really nice food and staff, just small suggestions:- place a little spoon for the salt and oil that is brought to eat with the bread- the table was a little bit wobbly, so maybe check this But apart from this it was a really pleasant experience!
TheForkUserFood was absolutely delicious, very good service, the chef came to our table and kindly explained to us the surprise menu we chose. highly recommended
TheForkUserOn a really hot Sunday we enjoyed eating in this huge airy space, it was well ventilated and cool. The staff were friendly and helpful, useful as the only menu is in Dutch. They had no trouble converting a vegetarian stew into a gluten free option and the fish and chips were a delicious variant of the normal UK version. But ask them to hold the pickles if you are not a fan of piccalilli.Good coffee ended a good meal. The the credit card machine did not work but between us we had just enough cash. After your meal walk around the huge windmill next door.
TheForkUserVery nice setting and good food with friendly service. Highly recommended!
TheForkUserExcellant food, nice atmosphere, super friendly service. We will remember this diner for a very long time and will certainly return, Thanks!
