Nice pub with a lovely garden. The menu had some interesting choices you don't see everywhere. I went for the braised lamb shank – it was cooked perfectly, fell right off the bone. A solid, tasty meal in a relaxed spot.

The steak and ale pie was the highlight. The pastry was flaky and buttery, the filling rich and tender. Could have used a bit more gravy, but the flavour was spot on. That's what I come for.

Great spot for live music. The band last night had a nice, relaxed set that fit the pub's vibe perfectly. Not too loud, just right for a pint and a chat.

Lunch was nice. The staff were genuinely friendly, which made the whole thing feel relaxed. I liked the vibe - it was just a good place to be for a bit.

The rooftop bar offers stunning views of Cambridge, making it a perfect spot for a special occasion or a relaxing evening.

The bang bang cauliflower is so good, I'm still thinking about it. Perfectly crispy with that spicy-sweet sauce. Giancarlo was lovely, but honestly, the cauliflower stole the show.

Nice spot by Richmond Green for a quiet pint. The cricket memorabilia on the walls is a great talking point. Had a sourdough with my drink – simple but good. Staff were friendly. Saw a few folks grabbing takeaway pints for the green, which looked like a good idea.

Happy hour cocktails are great. Food's decent, quick bite. Fun vibe, quirky spot. Downstairs club if you're up for it later.

Korean fried chicken was spot on. Crispy, juicy, the sauce had a nice kick. Lobster croquettes were decent too. Pub grub but a bit more interesting.

If you're a fan of Amy Winehouse, this bar is a must-visit! The walls are adorned with her photos, and the vibe is nostalgic and charming. The live performances are top-notch, making it a fantastic spot for music lovers.

Fun vibe. Cocktails were solid, especially the espresso martini. Food was good too, the truffle fries hit the spot. A cute place for an evening out.

I absolutely loved the unique cocktails at Scarfes Bar. The 'Free Falling' cocktail was a standout with its delicious chocolate wine twist. Can't wait to return for more!

No. 1 of Bars in London

The seasonal menu always has something new. I keep coming back just to see what they've come up with next.

The cocktails were the star for me. They’ve got this creative, almost artistic touch to them. Pricey, sure, but for that level of craft in a buzzing London spot, it felt justified. Made the evening feel a bit more special.

Service here is always so warm. Nick, Asta, and Sidney are lovely, they really make you feel looked after. It's nice to be somewhere the staff seem to genuinely enjoy helping. Adds a lot to the atmosphere.

Lovely Easter roast at the pub with the fam. The lamb was spot on, really tender and those roasties were crispy perfection. Staff were super friendly, made it feel really cosy. A proper nice Sunday vibe.

The lamb roast was so tender it just fell apart! The chicken was juicy too, not dry at all. Loved the crispy roast potatoes and huge Yorkshire puddings. Perfect for sharing with friends over a long, chatty lunch.

Just had their Sunday roast for the first time. The pork shoulder was so tender it fell apart, and that bit of caramelised apple with it was spot on. Really hit the spot on a grey afternoon.

The Princess of Wales is a delightful spot for a meal, with a menu full of British classics. The fish & chips and steak & ale pie are must-tries, and the drinks selection is perfect for pairing with your meal.

Popped in for a pint and a bite. The ham, egg and chips were really well done. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, which made it a very relaxed visit.

The team is always on it, even when packed. You can tell they care about the place. Food comes out quick, no waiting around.

Solid English breakfast, unlimited coffee refills. Good value for a quick bite. The pub's got some local history on the walls, which is a nice touch. Got in and out fast, perfect for a lunch break.

The jacket potato menu is a solid update. Loaded mine with the pulled pork topping. Generous portion, really tasty. Amy was great, super attentive. Nice vibe in there too.

The refurb looks nice, feels cosy. Good for a chilled lunch.

Nice spot in the Yard. The roof and heaters kept it warm. Pizzas looked great coming out of the oven. Service was quick and friendly.

The owner's wine picks are always spot-on. Had a lovely Spanish red with my meal, it just felt right for the evening. The list is clearly chosen with care.

Loved the sharing pie. The portion was generous, and the pastry was really flaky. You could tell the vegetables inside were fresh, not soggy at all. A solid choice for a simple, hearty meal.

Leffe on tap was a nice surprise, and it tasted properly kept. The beer selection overall is better than a lot of pubs. Sat on the patio in the evening, and the lighting was just right.

Prices are a bit steep for the neighbourhood, but you're definitely paying for that location. Sat outside for a drink at sunset—the view over the water was stunning. A crisp white wine was the perfect pairing. Makes the bill easier to swallow.
