The courtyard tables are so lovely on a sunny afternoon. We ordered a bunch of their small plates to share—the grilled octopus was a standout, perfectly tender with a nice char. A really nice spot for a relaxed catch-up.

Service was spot on. They checked in just enough without hovering, and the water glasses were never empty. Felt genuinely looked after, which is nice when you're spending a decent amount.

The barista was really helpful explaining the different coffee roasts. That kind of knowledge is nice to see. The whole team has a cheerful, relaxed vibe, and the table service makes it feel more like a neighbourhood spot than just another cafe.

Been ordering their burritos for a while now. They're consistently fresh and tastier than most in London.

The burgers are solid, but the loaded fries felt a bit pricey for what you get. It's a nice spot, just a bit more than I'd usually spend on a quick bite.

Got the unlimited tapas and upgraded to the full menu. Our server was really friendly and on it. Happy hour meant 2-for-1 cocktails, which was a nice touch. We tried loads - the garlic cheese breads and hot honey halloumi were favourites. Solid value for the amount we ate.

The restaurant has a nice ambience and great atmosphere, making it a perfect spot for a casual dinner with friends. The food and cocktails were amazing!

Love that they have a proper pub selection alongside the Indian menu. Had a pint of their local bitter with the chicken tikka masala – the malty notes cut through the richness nicely. A clever pairing you don't see often.

The bento lunch set is solid value. Sashimi was fresh, tempura crisp. Good portion for the price. Quick service, ideal for a business lunch near the office.

The South Indian thali is a solid choice. The wine list has a few nice options that pair well with the variety of flavours.

A solid neighbourhood pub with a decent choice on the menu. The local ale was pretty good, and the lager hit the spot. A fine place for a casual pint and a bite. The service was a bit slow, but it was a busy Friday evening.

The staff are always so friendly and helpful. I came in alone to get some work done, and they made me feel completely at ease. It's a lovely, low-pressure spot for that. The atmosphere is just right for focusing.

Came for a family birthday, we were a big group. The portions here are huge, everyone got a proper plateful. My plate was stacked, no skimping at all. Good for the price.

Service was spot on even when packed after the rugby. Our pasta came out super fast and tasted great. They handled the crowd really well.

The Sunday roast was a treat. The beef was tender, and the gravy was excellent. The chairs were quite comfortable, which made for a very relaxing meal.

Great spot for a quick bite. The food is authentic and nicely presented. Service is professional.

A really comfortable spot, the kind of place you can just relax in. The food's been good every time.

Came here with a few friends for a catch-up. The staff were so helpful when we asked about the gins – the Boatyard one they suggested was a hit! Really nice vibe for a chilled evening, just what we needed.

Great spot for a quick lunch. Nisha and Sachin are super friendly, always checking in. Food came out fast, which is what I needed. The chicken curry was solid. Nice, relaxed vibe in there.

Popped in for a drink. Their espresso martini was spot on, really smooth. Staff were nice and chill. Good spot.

Great to see a menu with so many thoughtful vegetarian options. The staff were really helpful with my questions. My partner's mushroom risotto paired nicely with the house Pinot Noir they suggested. A solid choice for a relaxed dinner.

Been coming here for years, feels like a proper local. Seven ales on tap, always a decent pint. Chairs are comfy, you can sit and watch the world go by. Prices haven't gone mad either, which is a plus these days.

The service was impeccable- the food cooked so lovely. Our waitress was beyond helpful, friendly and polite- a great place to eat or drink or both

Stumbled upon this spot and glad we did. The grilled octopus was spot on - tender, smoky, with a great char. Staff were friendly, place had a nice buzz. A solid find.

The Christmas dinner was lovely. I really appreciated the attention to fresh ingredients in the seasonal dishes. The service was smooth and made the whole evening feel relaxed.

Been here a few times to catch a game. The spicy chicken stack burger has a decent kick, not too crazy. Plenty of screens around, even in the booths, which is handy. It’s a solid local spot for that.

Been coming here for a few years now. The food is definitely better than your usual pub grub, but you do pay for it. My steak and ale pie was lovely, but at £18.50, I was hoping for a slightly bigger portion. Still, it's a nice treat.

Stopped in after a walk along the Thames. The fish and chips were decent, but what stood out was the freshness of the peas and the side salad. Really crisp and clearly not from a packet. The local ale was a nice touch too.

The sweet hoppers were lovely, but what really stood out for me was the coconut sambal. The coconut tasted so fresh, you could tell it was grated that day. It made a simple dish feel really special.

What a difference a chef makes! In a town of fake food restaurants, we are so fortunate to have A Cena where the dishes are freshly cooked and the welcome is always warm.
