The cordon bleu was solid — crispy outside, cheese actually melted through. Staff took time to explain the menu, which helped. Classic Swiss spot, nothing fancy but it works.

Came here with a couple friends after wandering around Lucerne, and honestly the tapas hit the spot. We ordered a bunch to share, everything came out fresh and hot. Prices felt fair for what you get, especially for being right in the center. Place is small so it got a bit cozy, but that kinda added to the vibe. Would come back for sure 😊

Good breakfast spread - croissants were fresh, and they even had rice and curry. Coffee machine with creamy milk hit the spot. Solid quick morning stop.

Tried the Chef's Suggestion 3 with my husband and honestly, for CHF 92 for two, it felt like a steal. Four courses, and the ceviche was the standout for me. Tuna sashimi was fresh, the bao was fun, and the ribeye came out just right. We left full and happy. Service was friendly, didn't rush us at all. Maybe a bit busy for my taste, but the food made up for it.

Solid lunch buffet right by Altstetten station. Loads of veggie options, even for a quick stop. Got my plate filled and was back out in no time.

We wanted to try both the fondue and raclette but didn’t want two big portions. They let us order single servings of each, which was perfect for sharing. Really appreciated that flexibility. Food was solid, nothing fancy, but the staff made it easy.

The mapo tofu was properly spicy, just how I like it. Wooden benches are a bit hard, so don't plan on staying too long. Fine for a quick bite though.

Baur's is definitely worth a visit for its exceptional service and high-quality food. The Bellinis are divine, and the overall dining experience is one that leaves a lasting impression.

Came here on a warm evening and grabbed a seat on the patio. Caipirinha was solid, just the right amount of lime. Easy walk from the station, which helped. Place was a bit busy but not overwhelming. Would come back for a drink if I'm in the area again.

I celebrated my 30th birthday at Acasa with friends. I found this place by absolute chance, but I can only say it was godsend! Between the cook Martina who personally called me to get the menù on point and everyone accommodating last changes and their patience with the group taking longer than expected with the dinner, I only have good things to say about Acasa. The quality and quantity of the food was sublime, to the point I had to take some of it home afterwards. Thank you everyone, I will definitely visit again!

Solid pasta. Big portions, that's for sure. Open kitchen is cool to watch. Bench seating's a bit hard, not gonna lie. But honestly, the food makes up for it. Didn't leave hungry.

Spaghetti was a bit overcooked and the carbonara felt too rich for me. Staff were polite though. Decent spot if you're in the area.

Wan Ton Tji was solid—chicken cooked just right and the broth had a clean, balanced flavor. I went back for a second bowl, which says enough. The terrace is nice for a slow lunch, though it did get a bit warm in the afternoon. A crisp white wine would’ve paired well with the lighter broth, but I stuck with water. Fine spot overall.

The margherita pizza had a nice thin, crispy base—exactly how I like it. Fresh ingredients, simple and good. It gets busy, so booking ahead makes sense.

Duck with orange sauce was solid. Waiter Alex knew the menu well, helped us pick fast when we had no clue what to order. Saved us time, honestly. Place was busy but we got in and out quick enough. Good spot for a no-fuss lunch if you're nearby.

Bit pricey but the three-course meal with wine was worth it. We came for our anniversary and left happy. The dessert was the highlight for me.

Nine years of business trips to Zurich and I finally found a place I'd actually go back to. Falafel was properly moist, not dry at all. Mezze plate had good variety. Grilled meat came out juicy, cooked right. Place was pretty busy but service kept up fine. Nothing fancy, just solid food done well.

Paccheri with salsiccia and truffles was the move. Pasta cooked right, sauce had that earthy kick. Antipasti were fresh too. Staff spoke a few languages, which helped since my Italian is basically hand gestures. Place was busy but not chaotic. Would eat that pasta again for sure.

The beef stroganoff was decent—tender meat, but the sauce felt a bit heavy for my taste. Classic Zurich setting, nothing fancy. Fine if you're nearby.

The sauce bar is the real deal—load up as much or as little heat as you want. Ingredients tasted fresh, staff was on it. Solid spot for a casual dinner.

Came here during game season, had the venison. Cooked just right, sauce was rich and did its job. Service was fine, checked on us but didn't hover. Place was busy but we got a table easy enough. Not cheap, but you pay for what you get. I'd go back if I'm in the area again.

The outdoor patio is shaded and lively—great spot to just sit for a while. The prosciutto with melon was the highlight, super fresh. Pizza was solid too.

Solid meal, friendly staff. Bit pricey for what you get, but the food was good. Fine if you're in the area.

The katsu curry here is legit. Sauce has that deep, slightly sweet flavor and the pork stays crispy even under it. Portion is big enough that I was stuffed. Didn't care much about the decor but it does feel like a tiny Japanese tavern. Just wish the rice was a bit warmer. Solid for a casual fix.

Dropped by for a quick lunch. Dumplings were fresh, sweet and sour chicken had a good tang. Nothing fancy, but it hit the spot. Service was efficient, got my food fast. Fine if you're in the Oerlikon area and need something reliable without fuss. Prices are fair for what you get.

Been coming here for a while now. The owner still remembers my usual order, which is kinda nice. Had the fried rice again, portion's still massive, took half of it home like always. Food's consistent, that's mainly why I keep coming back. Place gets busy around 7, so come a bit earlier if you can.

The terrace is lovely when the weather cooperates, which we lucked out with. Got a table without booking on a weekday evening, but it filled up fast after 7. Cozy spot, nothing fancy. I had the mushroom risotto—creamy, not too heavy. Would come back for that alone.
