Came here for a quick lunch, honestly wasn&#39;t expecting much. Got the daily pasta special. For &pound;9.50, the portion was huge, I couldn&#39;t finish it all. Exactly what I needed.

The John Brodie is a fantastic local pub with a great selection of drinks and an extensive food menu. The staff are always accommodating and make you feel welcome, even bringing treats for our dog!

Nice spot to sit outside and watch the world go by on a sunny afternoon. The outdoor chairs were comfy, which made it easy to relax. Just a simple, pleasant place for a casual drink.

Outstanding!  We were well looked after from start to finish especially with respect to allergens. A massive thank you to Natalia. Thank you also to Lee and Judah. Lots of food and drink choices. Would definitely recommend.

The vintage jukebox is so cool! It actually takes old 50p coins and plays 80s hits. Gave it a go while waiting for our mains, felt like a fun little time capsule.
