Been coming here for years, and the portion sizes are always generous for the price. Two mains, a side, and a couple of drinks still comes in around £55. That's what keeps me coming back.

A donation-based spot with cakes and coffee. You just grab what you like and pay what you can. The mix of locals chatting makes for a nice, relaxed vibe.

Carbonara was very good, pasta cooked perfectly. The portion size felt a bit small for the price, but the flavour was spot on. Service was efficient.

Shaun and Graeme were so nice, really made us feel welcome. Had the fish and chips with a couple of beers - the batter was super crispy! A chill spot for a relaxed dinner.

The chocolate milkshake is thick, not too sweet. It's the kind you can actually taste the ice cream in. The strawberry one was a bit too artificial for me though.

The cauliflower dish was really nice, but what I liked most was the atmosphere. It's relaxed, the music is cool, and the plates are all presented so beautifully. Just a really pleasant place to sit and eat.

The staff here are really on it, even when the place is packed. We were taking ages to decide, and they were so patient with us. Makes a difference.

Been coming here for years, and the baked potatoes are the reason. They’re always spot on—crispy skin, fluffy inside, just the right amount of salt. It’s the one thing I know won’t let me down.

The food was solid, good portions for the price. The real standout was the wine list - found a surprisingly good local red that went perfectly with the steak. Staff were friendly, no complaints.

Lovely staff and the milkshakes were really good. Just wish the chairs were a bit more comfortable for a longer sit.

Stopped here on the NC500 drive. The fish pie was spot on, really hit the spot after a long day. Staff were sound. Just what we needed.

The food was so good! You can really taste the care they put into sourcing everything locally. Perfect for sharing with friends.

The flat white was lovely, smooth and not too bitter. I also tried their turmeric latte, which had a nice warmth to it. The barista was really friendly and took the time to explain the different options. A comfortable spot to sit and enjoy a quiet moment.
