The lunch set is such a steal! Got the chicken tikka and lamb rogan josh, and they give you loads of naan and rice with it. Honestly, two of us could have shared it and still been full. Perfect for a quick catch-up.

I had a wonderful birthday dinner here. The food was sublime, especially the cheese soufflé and confit duck. The staff were attentive and friendly, creating a warm atmosphere that made the celebration special.

Been coming here for years. The food's always solid, nothing fancy but done right. Good spot for a proper, filling lunch without breaking the bank.

Great spot for a quick bite after seeing the sights nearby. The space itself is really nice—high ceilings and big windows let in loads of light, which was a welcome change from some of the darker pubs around here. Just a relaxed place to grab something.

The tacos from the BFI food truck were decent, but I was a bit surprised by the price. For a food truck, £12 for two tacos felt a bit steep. They were tasty and the service was quick, but the portion size left me still a bit peckish.

Been coming here for years, and the pumpkin maki is still the one for me. Always has that perfect crunch. Portions are generous, which is a plus. Just wish the Wi-Fi was a bit more reliable inside, makes it hard to pull up the menu sometimes.

Proper pie and mash. The liquor sauce is spot on, herby and not too thin. Just a simple, cosy spot for a decent feed.

Service can be a bit slow when it's busy, and the buffet trays aren't refilled quickly. Booking ahead helps.

Popped in for the Sunday roast. Beef was spot on, still pink in the middle. The roasties were proper crispy and fluffy. That homemade horseradish creme fraiche though, really made it.

The outdoor seating is a nice touch. It makes the whole place feel more open and pleasant on a good day. We had a decent lunch out there. It did get a bit warm later on, though.

Just stumbled upon this little spot near Kingsgate. Their chicken tikka masala was so flavourful, really hit the spot on a chilly evening. The sauce was rich and creamy, perfect with the fluffy naan. A lovely find.

Been coming here for years, the smashed burgers are always spot on.

The haddock was cooked perfectly to order, so moist and flaky. Really appreciate that attention.

Been coming here for years. The steak's always cooked right, and you can get a solid meal with a drink for under £60. Eve and Marina know the regulars, service is quick. No fuss, just reliable.

Had our wedding reception in the ballroom. It's such a grand space, really made the band and dancing feel special. Charley and Clio were so helpful with all the details. The upstairs rooms were gorgeous for getting ready, too.

The pad thai here is the reason I came back. Ordered it mild the second time, and it was just right. The noodles had that perfect chewy texture, and the tamarind wasn't too sweet. The green curry was fine, but the pad thai is the one.

The staff were really friendly and the vibe was nice. Good selection of drinks too, though the place got a bit loud later on.

Solid spot for a working lunch. The coffee is good, service is quick and unobtrusive. Portions are generous for the price, which is the main draw for me. The atmosphere is relaxed, good for focusing.

Been a regular for years. Their weekend biryani specials are a steal, and the house red pairs surprisingly well with it.

The server really took her time walking us through the menu. That extra bit of care made all the difference in what we ordered. Felt like a proper, thoughtful meal because of it.

The staff kept things friendly and relaxed even when it was packed. Their wine list had a nice local red that went perfectly with my steak.

A solid local pub, the outdoor area is large and well-maintained. It's a cozy spot inside, nice decor. Good selection of beers on tap. Found a comfortable corner table, which made it a very relaxed visit.

Wings are 40p each on Wednesdays. The takeaway ones come in foil containers, still hot when you get home. They're decent for the price, nothing fancy.

Just popped in for a drink after the theatre. No food, but the gin selection is huge. Nice, clean spot to sit and chat. Bit quiet for a Friday, but that was fine by me.

The Sunday roast is the main reason we keep coming back. The gravy was rich and flavourful, and the roast potatoes had that perfect crispy edge. Veggies were cooked just right, not mushy at all. It's a solid, comforting plate of food.

The lamb souvla was the standout. Cooked over a real fire, the seasoning was spot on and the texture was lovely. The other grilled meats were good, but the souvla is what I'll remember.

Popped in for a quick lunch. The sausage and mash was spot on – creamy mash, proper sausages with a good snap. The host was friendly and knew his stuff. Just what I needed.

The grill station is such a fun idea! Watching them cook the lamb kebab right there was the highlight. The shank was super tender, too. Really enjoyed that whole smoky vibe.

Been coming here for years, and the kitchen is always on point. Food arrives quick, even on quiet nights when the floor staff can be a bit stretched.

The mixed grill was a total showstopper! Perfect for sharing with the table.
