The refurbishment is lovely, makes it feel really comfortable. It's a traditional pub but with a more relaxed, modern vibe now. A nice spot for a quiet meal.

The fireplace was so cosy on a chilly day. The staff were lovely, made it feel like a proper escape.

Cosy spot with good music, and I liked the split-level bar layout. It's a nice place to just sit and have a pint. They had a decent selection of draft beers and ciders.

Loved the fire pit on the terrace, perfect for a chilly evening. The Estrella was properly cold, which is all you can ask for. Dog biscuits were a thoughtful little extra.

Solid local pub, and the pints are well-priced for London. I liked the bitter they had on tap. Good spot to pop in for one.

Popped in for a quick pint. The place has a great vibe, feels old and lived-in. Heard it was a regular spot for George Michael back in the day, which is pretty cool. Just a nice, unpretentious pub.

Lovely little spot in Wanstead. The pastries are incredible - the almond croissant was so flaky and buttery, still warm. Perfect with a coffee on their patio.

Nice little find away from the match day chaos. Their beer list had a few interesting local ales I hadn't tried before. The classic burger was solid, nothing fancy, but hit the spot.

The modern bathroom was spotless and had everything you'd need. It did get a bit noisy from the street in the early morning, but that's a minor thing.

The service was pretty good, even on a busy Friday night. Staff were polite and efficient, didn't feel rushed at all. A decent spot for a relaxed meal.

Sachin's a good bloke, knows his drinks. Suggested a local ale that went nicely with the scotch egg. He's friendly without being over the top, makes you feel like a regular.

Lovely outdoor seating, and the vegan options are actually really good.

Been coming for the Sunday roast for years. It's reliable, always decent. The banoffee pie is the real star, honestly. Just get there before it's gone – goes quick most weeks.

The Sunday roast was spot on, and the staff were lovely. The wine list had some interesting local options that paired nicely.

As a vegetarian, the veggie roast was a lovely choice. The cauliflower cheese side was really tasty. Service was friendly and the seating was comfortable, which made for a relaxed lunch.

Stayed a night. Room was clean and spacious, had everything I needed. The location is the real winner though - right by Greenwich Market, easy to get everywhere.

Lovely pub that welcomes dogs, which is a nice touch. The espresso martini was the clear winner from the drinks we tried - really well balanced and strong. The other cocktails were fine, just didn't hit the same mark.

The mushroom linguine was a standout. Not bland at all, really flavourful. My friends enjoyed their steaks too.

A proper local pub with a welcoming vibe. The house ale was a perfect match for the lively atmosphere when the live music kicked in.

The private club room was perfect for our wrap party. The food was great, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful time.

We were a big group of 12 and they managed us really well. Our tables were set up nicely in the corner. The servers kept checking on us without being pushy, which made the whole evening smooth. Food was solid for everyone.

Tank and Paddle is a hidden gem with a fun atmosphere and great food. The board games and shuffleboard add an extra layer of enjoyment to the dining experience.

Lovely village feel in central London. The atmosphere is very cozy. I had a pint and a chat with a friend, it was a nice way to unwind. The pub itself feels authentic and traditional.

Came for the Hocus Pocus Halloween screening. The vibe was pretty good and lively. Food options were decent, they had some vegan things. The free drinks and candy were a nice touch! The film audio was a bit quiet in our corner, but still a fun evening.

The pork shoulder was the standout. Fresh, well-prepared, and cooked just right. Staff were friendly and knew the menu well. A solid meal for the price.

Lovely festive dinner with the family. The staff were incredibly patient with our lively kids. My only gripe? The espresso was a bit steep for what it was. Otherwise, a very pleasant evening.

A solid spot for a casual dinner with mates. The wine list is surprisingly decent for the price point, had a nice red that went well with the steak. Might be a bit loud on a weekend night, but that's the trade-off.

The beef and bone marrow pie is the only thing I think about here. The filling is incredibly rich and deep, proper comfort food. It's huge, easily enough for two, maybe three. For the size, it's priced right for London.

Been here a few times now. The green curry's always spot on, not too sweet. Tik and Maggie remember my usual order, which is nice. Portions are decent for the price. It's just a solid, reliable spot in the neighbourhood.
