Been coming here for years now. The food's always been solid, never had a bad meal. That cozy pub feel is exactly why I keep coming back. It's just a reliable spot.

Nice spot for lunch. The separate bar area is a good touch, and they have a private room upstairs. Felt relaxed just sitting there.

The food was pretty good, the flavours were decent. The atmosphere was fine, but it was a bit disrupted by someone's phone ringing loudly a few times.

As a vegetarian, I found the staff very helpful with the menu. They suggested a decent pasta dish that worked for me. It was pretty good, though a little on the small side.

Ambience was superb service exceptional a wonderful experience. My overseas guests were enchanted to experience a traditional hostelry. We will certainly visit again

Lovely little shop in Churchtown village. They have a really nice selection of cheeses and cured meats. Picked up some local honey and loose leaf tea too. The loose tea could be a bit fresher, but it's a nice spot for a browse.

A lovely, relaxed spot for a leisurely lunch. I really appreciated how fresh and vibrant the ingredients in my salad were.

Popped in for a coffee and cake after shopping. The flat white was smooth, just right. My lemon drizzle slice was moist, not too sweet. A nice, quiet corner to sit for a bit. The cake selection looked good, might try the carrot cake next time.

We popped in on New Year's Eve without a booking, and they still found us a spot. The staff were so kind and attentive, which made a potentially stressful evening feel really relaxed. The food was lovely, too.

The halloumi salad was a nice start. But the real treat was the homemade Yorkshire puddings, they were so light and fluffy. Having the open fire going made it really cosy on a chilly afternoon. Just a lovely, relaxed spot.

Nice spot for a casual dinner. The modern decor gives it a relaxed feel. We had the grilled salmon, and the house white they suggested was a surprisingly good match. A bit noisy later on, but that's fine for a Friday night.

A lovely quiet spot for a chat. Had a great flat white and a slice of their banana bread. Really nice to know the place supports veterans.

Booked the private function room for a work do. It's bright and modern, really comfortable for the group. The event coordination was straightforward, which was a relief. Made the whole thing easy.

Christmas lunch for 18 of us. The staff were really on it, everything came out hot, even the plates were warmed. The roast was lovely, the veggies still had a nice bite to them.

The staff are so friendly and welcoming. It really makes a difference when you're trying to enjoy a quiet, healthy meal. They were happy to answer all my questions about the ingredients in the salad dressing.

As an away fan, the staff wearing local team shirts was a nice touch. The food was authentic, but the portions felt a bit small for the price.

Modern, clean spot with an open kitchen. The relaxed vibe is a big plus. The wine list had some interesting local options that paired nicely with the food. A solid choice for a casual evening out.

Lovely ambiance, very cozy. I really appreciated the mismatched china and quirky decorations, they gave the place a unique charm. The food was fresh and well-prepared, with a good selection of healthy options. A nice spot for a relaxed meal.

The portions are huge, and the flavours are spot on. I had the lamb shank and it just fell off the bone. Staff were lovely too.

Came here with a group of friends last Friday. The lamb shashlik was so good, really tender and that jalfrezi sauce had a proper kick to it. Perfect for sharing and chatting over. Service was spot on, never had to wait long for anything.

The menu had so many interesting choices, it was hard to decide. We just walked in and got a table straight away, which was a nice surprise.

Been coming here for years, and the log fire in the bar is still the best part. It's just so cozy on a cold evening. The vegan chili is a solid choice, I get it often. Could do with a few more veggie dishes on the menu, though.

Stumbled upon this place for lunch. The curry was just right, rich and flavourful. The bread was fresh and warm, perfect for scooping. A really lovely meal.

Had a nice dinner with friends. The food was pretty good, especially the pasta. Service was friendly, though a bit slow at times.

The hand-cut chips were lovely and crisp. The kids' menu is very reasonably priced, which is always a plus. I found the booths quite comfortable for a relaxed meal.

Staff were very friendly and accommodating, especially with our dogs. They handled a special dietary request without any fuss. Good spot to unwind after a walk with the pets.

Came back for a second visit, which says it all really. The service is just so friendly and attentive, never felt rushed. The booths are comfortable too, makes for a relaxed meal.

I really appreciated that they finished the main dish at the table. It let me see how fresh the ingredients were. The menu has a lot of vegetable options, which is great for me. My plate was colourful and everything tasted very garden-fresh.

The birthday cake was a lovely touch, and it paired nicely with their house red. A thoughtful gesture.

Nice vibe and the food came out fast. Goi Cuon and Nasi Goreng were spot on, and the mango sticky rice was a treat.
