The upstairs tea room is such a lovely spot. The climb is a bit of a trek, but those comfy chairs and the view over the high street are just right for a quiet afternoon.

The fish and chips portion was huge, the fillet was practically hanging off the plate! Really fresh fish, which I appreciate.

The menu really stood out for me. They clearly focus on quality ingredients, and you can taste the freshness in every dish. The grilled salmon with seasonal vegetables was perfectly cooked, and the greens tasted like they were just picked. A lovely, relaxed spot.

As someone who pays close attention to drink pairings, I was impressed. They had a good selection of wines that worked well with the gluten-free options. The staff knew their stuff when I asked for suggestions. Made the whole meal much smoother.

Popped in for an early dinner. The sizzling steak was really fresh, you could tell it wasn't sitting around. Got a bit noisy later on when it filled up, but the staff were still sound.

Nice open space and the coffee is consistently good. Staff are friendly too.

Stopped in for dessert after a walk. The outdoor seating was nice, and the staff were polite. That's about it. The place is fine for what it is.

Been coming here for years, it's our local spot. The food's always solid and the vibe is just really welcoming. Not a fancy place, but feels like home.

Really enjoyed the mixed starter, so many different flavours and textures. The kung po chicken was the star though – just the right amount of heat and crunch. Staff were lovely when we asked to swap a side.

The Sri Lankan curries here are so fresh. You can really taste the quality in the vegetables and the spices, they don't feel heavy at all. It's a nice change from the usual takeaway options. A bit on the pricey side, but you're paying for good ingredients.

The staff are so friendly and welcoming, it makes for a really relaxed visit. The real ales are always spot on, too.

Decent dim sum selection here. The har gow wrappers were nicely thin, and the filling had a good bite. They also do this dice game thing where you can win a free meal, which was a fun touch.

Service was efficient, food was prepared just right. Had the grilled salmon, it was a decent portion and cooked well. A bit on the pricey side, but fine for a quiet weeknight dinner.

First time trying their sizzling ginger beef. It came out on a hot plate, still sizzling and smelling incredible. The beef was really tender and the ginger flavour was spot on. A solid find.

The crispy duck is the star. Skin is perfectly crisp, meat stays moist. The fried rice with vegetables is a solid side, good texture. Portions are generous. That's what keeps me coming back.

The lamb biryani was packed with flavour, spices just right. The chicken tikka had a proper smoky char. Solid takeaway, hit the spot on a rainy Tuesday. Portions were decent.

Been coming here for years, and the portions are still just as generous as ever. I’ve tried most things on the menu over time, and it’s always a solid, filling meal. That’s what keeps me coming back.

Came for the early bird specials and wasn't disappointed! The menu had so many options it was hard to choose. Ended up with the seafood pasta and it was spot on. The place itself is lovely and clean, felt really welcoming.

The lamb qouzi was lovely and tender. Portions are generous for the price, which is nice. I found the booth seating quite comfortable for a relaxed meal.

The Malaysian beef was spicy and full of flavour, with really tender meat and big chunks of veg. That was the standout for me. The chicken fried rice was fine, had plenty of chicken in it.

The staff here are so friendly, made our little breakfast catch-up feel really nice. Great spot for a chat with friends!

The staff really know their stuff about allergies. They took my nut allergy seriously, checked everything with the kitchen, and explained the prep for my dish. Felt safe ordering.

Decent Chinese buffet, and the evening parking is a plus. Their house red was a surprisingly good match with the roast duck.

The train carriage seating is such a fun idea. I loved the view of the lake from our table. The menu had a few nice salads, which was perfect for me. My grilled chicken salad was fresh, with crisp greens. A lovely spot for a light lunch.

The portions are huge and everything comes out piping hot. Really appreciate that for a quick, affordable lunch.

Found this place by chance. Portions are huge, honestly couldn't finish my plate. The lamb shank was spot on. Staff were really friendly and checked on us a few times.

Love that they do breakfast all day! The medium breakfast is a solid deal, especially with the half-price drinks. Perfect for a casual catch-up.

I had a lovely meal at this restaurant with a fantastic view of the dock. The service was brilliant, and the staff were very attentive.

Perfect spot for a quick brunch. Eggs Benedict were spot on, runny yolks and all. Pancakes with mascarpone were solid. Got my food fast, which is all I need on a busy day. Lemonade was a nice touch.
