TheForkUserThe restaurant and guest toilets really need an upgrade. The waitress took forever to come and take our order, even though we were the first two people there. The larger table (approximately 10 pax) were served long before the even took our order. I was looking forward to our lunch there but driving all the way from Rotterdam you expect a bit more than just average. It was quite disappointing.

Especially the crispy rice on the mackerel was something I’ll remember as ‘it was rice with a surprise’. On the noise and initial sun… that is the charm of a good restaurant. What we didn’t like so much how too many small (outside) tables were squeezed in and how small the table were. Staff was knowledagble and very friendly.

Small card which speaks for the restaurant and excellent, also very creative vegetarian options.One can choose between 3-7 dish menues or allacard. Prices are reasonable for the quality. We are coming back!Only the wine and beverage selection is a bit short, a good wine card would make it perfect.Service was friendly, nothing to complain.We had different small shellfish forks at the table, all of them has been crooked and dangerous to eat from.Only small minus points for us, all in all an excellent choice and a wonderful dinner.

TheForkUserA very nice small restaurant with excellent food. Tasting menue as well as a la carte. We had the tasting menue (4 course) and we were definitely not hungry anymore at the end of the evening. Restaurant was fully booked (52 people) so noise level was on the high side, which took any a bit of the atmosphere. It also caused the 3 servers to be extremely busy, without any time for small talk or a bit of explanation of the food. Guess I would surely come back, but would prefer an evening less busy.

TheForkUserdespite the reservation, the time lost waiting to get to the table was enormous. When serving, one of the dishes was not what we ordered. They took the two plates back to the kitchen. Result: a dish came back reheated. We went to the restaurant twice as there are not many alternatives in the area. Bland salads (the familiar tomato and cucumber) and side dishes that are repeated on every dish. Cute spot with boring food.
