The stoofvlees here is the real deal. Slow-cooked until it falls apart, that dark beer sauce has this deep sweetness that sticks to your spoon. Had it with fries, proper Belgian style. Portion was decent for the price. Only thing, the place was pretty busy so I waited a bit for the table. But the meat made up for it.

The tasting menu idea is solid&mdash;you get to try a bunch of different stuff without committing. Quality&#39;s definitely there. The pad thai was properly good&mdash;sweet, tangy, just the right amount of peanut. Sat there watching the waves while eating, hard to beat that combo. Only downside, it took a while to get our food. Place was packed though, so I guess that&#39;s on us for showing up at peak hour. Fine if you&#39;re not rushing.
