TheForkUserThe Buratta Caprese salad was good, but not excellent. The basil had no flavour and the balsamic drizzle on the exterior of the plate looked like decor not part of the meal. I discovered it too late. The seabreem was excellent as were the accompanying mashed potatoes. Bread was delivered with the salad. No side plate, no butter, no butter knife. Felt like they were one staff member short otherwise things would have been terrific.

Especially the crispy rice on the mackerel was something I’ll remember as ‘it was rice with a surprise’. On the noise and initial sun… that is the charm of a good restaurant. What we didn’t like so much how too many small (outside) tables were squeezed in and how small the table were. Staff was knowledagble and very friendly.

The larger table (approximately 10 pax) were served long before the even took our order. I was looking forward to our lunch there but driving all the way from Rotterdam you expect a bit more than just average. It was quite disappointing.
