Overall, the stay was excellent. The hotel boasts a prime location directly opposite the Convention and Exhibition Center. The room was clean and tidy, offering great city views. A special thank you to Sahar at the front desk for patiently answering all our questions and handling our requests with professionalism and warmth. The service all around was top-notch. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Shenzhen. Highly recommended!

Excellent stay, always satisfied whenever I check in. The facilities are great, the service is good, and the surrounding amenities are very convenient – you can find dining and shopping all in one place. My only suggestion would be for the service to be a bit more natural.

Mandarin Oriental Shenzhen truly lives up to its reputation as a service supreme hotel. Not only is it the highest Mandarin Oriental in Shenzhen, but the service throughout my stay was impeccable. I was thrilled to find out on this business trip that I was staying at the same hotel as my idol, Mr. Andy Lau! Enjoying breakfast on the soaring 78th floor felt like being in a fairyland. The hotel staff were incredibly accommodating, and the turndown service was as thoughtful as ever. Room service was very responsive. The welcome fruit was fresh and seasonal, and knowing my child enjoyed it, they sent another portion early the next morning. The family-friendly setup was warm and appropriate, and the kids' activities were a lot of fun. Finally, the checkout staff were very polite, escorted me all the way downstairs, and had a record of all my previous requests. I'm sorry I didn't catch their name, but I want to give them a big thumbs up here! It truly is my favorite hotel. While there are many luxury hotels, I particularly adore this one with its oriental charm. Mandarin Oriental will always be my first choice from now on! My only regret this time was that due to limited availability, I couldn't get an upgrade, and also, the welcome music was no longer "Kangding Love Song."

The hotel is absolutely beautiful, and they even upgraded us to a larger suite for free. The Mobar truly lived up to its reputation. It's a shame this was such a short trip and we couldn't stay longer to enjoy it more. I met new friends at the Mobar and tried some fantastic seasonal drinks. The only downside is that the hotel guests and bar patrons share the same elevator. Last night, after dinner, while heading back to my room, I encountered some guests on their way to the bar. Since the guest rooms are on lower floors and the bar is upstairs, I guess they didn't realize the elevator was going down. They suddenly started swearing and complaining in front of my 7-year-old child. However, I reported the situation to the front desk this morning, and they very generously waived my Mobar bill from yesterday (which I greatly appreciate).

Indeed, this is Shenzhen's top luxury hotel! The front desk is on the 78th floor, and the elevators are thoughtfully equipped with sofas, which is perfect for a quick rest during the 1+ minute ride up or down. That's a great touch. The deep blue theme of the room is my favorite color, and the incredibly spacious design made my extended stay of several days very comfortable! The room's functional layout is also excellent, with clear divisions between the entryway, wardrobe, washroom, and toilet room. Each section is distinct yet can be adjusted and connected as needed. The service was truly exceptional. From check-in to getting to the room, everything was seamlessly handled, and they proactively inquired about my travel plans. A big thank you to Brynn, who, knowing my itinerary, specially arranged a room with a great view for me and patiently explained everything, hahaha 😂, making my trip experience absolutely perfect!

An absolutely terrible experience. First, the room itself: the decor was very basic and it offered poor value for money. The pool was pretty but far too small; you couldn't actually swim in it. All the bar snacks were chargeable (whereas at other luxury hotels I've stayed at, they're usually complimentary). Now for the most important part: I booked a room through Ctrip, but a friend found a better deal. When I arrived at the hotel, I tried to cancel my Ctrip booking at the front desk. The hotel staff showed a complete lack of integrity and ethics, lying and saying I couldn't cancel (Ctrip later confirmed that cancellations *were* possible, but the hotel simply refused). This fundamental issue goes beyond whether the hotel is good or bad. Everyone, be cautious and avoid this place!

Our stay was absolutely fantastic! The staff were all incredibly friendly, especially Nicole Anthea Tipo at the front desk, who was so warm and thoughtful. She even extended our check-out time to 3 PM so my child could go swimming. I will definitely be coming back next time! Thanks to the wonderful Mandarin Oriental, and the breakfast was delicious too.
