🌿My cousin and I just got back from Emana Bambooscape in Ubud, and honestly? We were already missing it before we’d even left the driveway. 🏡 Check-In & The Villa There was a short wait while our villa got ready (our first pick wasn’t free), but we lucked out with a gorgeous spot right by the rice fields. Fair warning: the wind chimes that keep the birds away take a minute to get used to — but by day two, they’d become our favorite white noise. 🎂 The Birthday Surprise This is the part I keep telling people about. The staff found out it was my belated birthday and showed up with a cake and a full “Happy Birthday” serenade. Genuinely one of those unplanned moments that made the whole trip feel special. 💬 Easy Communication Everything ran through WhatsApp, and the team was quick, warm, and never made a request feel like a hassle. 🍽️ Food & Drinks The menu was varied and well-priced — every meal, breakfast through afternoon tea, hit the mark. Wine leaned pricey, but one of the staff walked me through options and let me taste before committing, which sealed the deal on a red I ended up loving. 💆 In-Villa Massage They set up the massage tables right in our villa, dimmed the mood, and had music playing. Ten out of ten “why would I ever leave” energy. 🏊 The Pool Full transparency: it had a slight green tint from weather before we arrived. Staff tried to sort it out, and honestly, it didn’t stop us — pool time with wine and good conversation is pool time either way. Minor note for next time: give it a deeper clean before guests check in. 🛁 The Villa Itself Spotless, and that shower — strong water pressure is non-negotiable for me, and this one delivered. Also somehow escaped mosquito season completely unscathed despite being right next to the rice terraces. 📸 Little Extras The complimentary 15-minute photo shoot was a nice surprise, and the photos turned out good enough that we paid a bit more for a few copies as keepsakes. 🥐 Floating Breakfast Saved the best for last — a floating breakfast on our final morning. Beautifully set up and a genuinely fun way to close out the trip. 📍 Location About 10–15 minutes from Ubud central, so souvenir runs were easy. ⭐ The Verdict Out of five hotels across eight days in Bali, Emana Bambooscape topped the list, no contest. The warmth from every single person — management, butlers, bar, restaurant — made it feel less like a hotel stay and more like being hosted by friends. Already counting down to the next visit. 🙏

Very good service, staff always smiley and helpful! Amenities and resort house is very beautiful and well maintained. Was very sweet to include simple decoration on the bed for us knowing our anniversary or just to say good night. Only challenge is that would need to take the steps for toilet from the bedroom. And there were loud knocking noises from the nearby villa during day time hours if u are not outside for day trips. Resort apologises for it and provides ear plugs to help out. Thank you! I really enjoy staying here, first to say their service is a 5-star hotel level, which is much more better than the 5-star hotel that I stayed! The overall experience is very GOOD, I love it and definitely will stay there again in future. They will welcome you outside whenever you come back, I feel so Paiseh haha but I love it! They will provide a welcome blessing ritual, at the same time also send meal to your hotel (all-time breakfast, wow!) I don’t see any downside, overall the location is good, and easy to call e-hailing. Thank you for making my trip so wonderful.

⭐We had a wonderful two-night stay at Emana Bambooscape Ubud while celebrating my birthday and our wedding anniversary. Room: The villa is peaceful and surrounded by beautiful nature. As there are only a few villas, it feels very private and relaxing. Everything was clean and well maintained, including the private pool. Since it is a semi-open villa, you will occasionally see some insects, which is quite normal in Ubud. However, they were never a problem, and surprisingly, we didn’t get a single mosquito bite during our stay! Service: The hospitality was exceptional. Every staff member was warm, attentive, and always greeted us with a smile. Communication through WhatsApp was incredibly fast, and every request—from arranging the flower bathtub decoration to breakfast and transportation inquiries—was handled promptly and professionally. They truly made us feel well taken care of. Food: We enjoyed the afternoon tea, dinner, and breakfast during our stay, and every meal exceeded our expectations. The portions were generous, the presentation was beautiful, and everything was delicious. We left every meal feeling satisfied. Thank you to the entire Emana Bambooscape team for making our birthday and anniversary celebration so memorable. We would definitely love to return in the future. ❤️

Staff are super friendly and nice. The villa has a stunning view seeing the rice fields. The villa is all made of natural bamboo and comes together with a nice private pool that gives us an embrace of the nature. Love this hotel and definitely will come back again. Perfect for couples.

The room is big and the bed is comfortable. But the privacy is not so well as other ppl can see and hear what you are doing from their room.
