Unforgettable Vibes!!! The best hotel of our first Shanghai family trip! Staying at Banyan Tree on the Bund made our first family trip to Shanghai truly extraordinary. It was the best part of our entire vacation. The service was also best memory. Every staff member spoke excellent English and paid amazing attention to detail throughout our stay. The location on the North Bund is perfect—peaceful, adjacent to a great riverside jogging track, yet highly convenient with easy access to shopping centers and the Metro line. Our room featured magnificent views overlooking The Bund and the iconic Oriental Pearl Tower. The panorama was so breathtaking we could have easily spent the whole day just admiring it from inside. Furthermore, the breakfast spread was premium, diverse, and delightful. Everything about this hotel exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend Banyan Tree on the Bund. You will not be disappointed!

We booked a connecting room with a scenic view—the view was absolutely stunning! The butler added us on WeChat in advance. Overall, the rooms were great, though one of them had a minor air-conditioning issue. The breakfast selection wasn’t extensive, but everything tasted excellent—especially the Shin Ramyun noodles, salty soy milk, and wonton soup. Service was outstanding: both the front desk and housekeeping staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive.

Great location offering a quiet retreat in the bustling city, right next to the Huangpu River (North Bund). You can directly access the riverside promenade from the hotel's second-floor back door—it's truly seamless! Turn right and walk less than 100 meters outside the hotel, and you'll find the Gongping Road Ferry Terminal, taking only 7-8 minutes by boat to Pudong. Raffles City is just a 5-minute walk away... Also, just as the "legends" say, the breakfast is extensive with a fantastic mix of Chinese and Western options, and the quality is top-notch! Oh, and by the way, the rooms are spacious and well-equipped with modern amenities. Definitely worth a return visit!

An elite stay with a beautiful room. The best views of the city available (look at the night view!) and great amenities like the spa. Rooftop bar was incredible too!

Butler service from Ms. Cynthia was fantastic and very enthusiastic. She happened to be assisting many international guests during our check-in, and she handled it with great professionalism. The hotel is located right by the river, offering wonderful views day and night, yet it is also very quiet. There is a dedicated walkway connecting directly to the North Bund greenway. The breakfast spread is rich with plenty of options, and the bathtub is cleaned and refilled by dedicated staff.

Came here with my partner to celebrate our anniversary, and the experience was 100% perfect! Our butler Bella reached out in advance to note down our requests, and Cynthia went above and beyond to decorate the room and prepare a small cake. When we had a special situation on the day and needed a slightly late checkout, they arranged it for us without any hassle. We were completely satisfied with the room!

Our stay at Banyan Tree Shanghai On The Bund was amazing! The room was spacious and comfortable with floor-to-ceiling windows offering breathtaking views. You can enjoy a full panoramic view of the Oriental Pearl Tower right from your bed—the river views are expansive during the day, and the glittering lights of Lujiazui at night create an incredible atmosphere. The breakfast was a pleasant surprise; the freshly boiled wontons were flavorful and delicious, the soy milk was smooth and rich, and the authentic Chinese flavors really hit the spot. The overall ambiance is elegant, the service is attentive, and it offers a quiet retreat in the bustling city. It's a fantastic choice for a vacation in Shanghai, and we'd love to stay here again next time.
