Cordis, Foshan, Lingnan Xintiandi

This is my second time staying at the Cordis Hotel. The hotel's location is excellent, just a street away from Lingnan Tiandi. The rooms are very comfortable, and the hotel service is impeccable. What I'm most satisfied with is the hotel's buffet breakfast – it offers a wide variety of Chinese, Western, and local specialties, with plenty of choices and delicious flavors. I had some incredibly sweet and fragrant bananas there.

To sum it up: My stay was fantastic, and I highly recommend Cordis to anyone visiting Foshan – it's absolutely worth it! I really have to commend the hotel. First off, front desk staff Wendy, Shirley, and Tina were incredibly efficient with check-in, very empathetic, and quick to respond to and resolve any requests. I only caught their names from their name tags, but I could tell the hotel's overall service atmosphere was excellent. For instance, the cleaning staff on the 12th floor would proactively greet me, and the luggage storage attendant was very thoughtful. Everyone I encountered, both entering and leaving, was genuinely friendly. Secondly, the location is super convenient, very close to Zumiao Temple and Lingnan Tiandi. It's suitable for getting around by subway or even scooter. Although the entrance to the lobby is a bit narrow, staff members were quick to guide vehicle parking, so it's still very convenient for those driving. Finally, I have to praise the hotel's excellent facilities. They even upgraded our room! The room was spacious and bright, and spotlessly clean. The moment I walked in, I felt relaxed. The bath products are from a premium brand and smell wonderful. The hotel also has a pool and a gym. Breakfast was very varied, and even though there were many diners, the staff replenished food and cleared tables in an orderly fashion. There are just a few small areas where I think the hotel could improve. The hairdryer could be upgraded; it's a bit old and easily snags hair. The swimming pool offers swimming lessons, which can sometimes take up too much space. Also, if you want to use the dry and wet saunas without swimming, you have to wait for staff to turn them on, so there's a short wait before you can use them immediately. However, these are minor points and don't detract from the overall excellent experience – the hotel has so many positives. I hope the hotel continues to maintain this high standard of service and quality. I'll definitely choose Cordis first next time I'm in Foshan and will recommend it to my friends and family! The hotel's location is extremely convenient, right next to Lingnan Tiandi. Although not newly built, it has clearly been well-renovated and maintained. The rooms are great and very comfortable, and the hotel service is excellent, with polite and friendly staff.

This hotel's location is absolutely unbeatable. It's the best spot, just a two or three-minute walk to Lingnan Tiandi and right behind the Ancestral Temple. Our group of 13 was extremely satisfied with this location. It's a bit more expensive than other places, but totally worth it. The place is clean, and the main thing is its convenience. The room originally included access to a dry and wet sauna, but there were so many attractions nearby that we didn't have time to use it. We arrived early, and they still managed to put all our rooms on the same floor, which the front desk staff deserve praise for.

Excellent location! Very convenient transport links. It's right next to Lingnan Tiandi, so you can reach all the dining, entertainment, and shopping options there in just a few minutes. Zumiao Temple is also directly behind it, so there's plenty to explore. If you're visiting Foshan, I highly recommend this hotel!

The hotel's location is excellent, with convenient transportation. We could walk to Lingnan Tiandi and Zumiao Temple. The room was spacious and clean, and the balcony offered a fantastic view directly overlooking Zumiao Temple. The hotel service was very thoughtful; the foreign duty manager was attentive and noticed it was our birthday during our stay. They prepared a cake for us and promptly communicated to arrange a delivery time to our room. Overall, our stay was a fantastic experience.

An old hotel with outdated facilities, though well-maintained. The bathroom didn't have a separate shower and toilet area, and the old-fashioned bathtub made it inconvenient to get in and out. The hotel later moved me to a room with a shower and a smart toilet. The lobby manager was on top of things, very enthusiastic in their service, and handled the situation promptly. A minor complaint: I was charged 9 RMB to print a single airline itinerary at the front desk. Shouldn't this be a complimentary service for hotel guests? Also, drinks in the minibar cost money, with Coke and Sprite priced at 18 RMB each. The hotel has a large number of African and Indian guests, which is quite characteristic of Guangdong. It's conveniently located with plenty of food and entertainment options nearby, and the Ancestral Temple and Lingnan Tiandi are just a stone's throw away.
