Kunming Yuboting Homestay (Railway Station)

It's about a 10-minute walk from the train station, not too far. It's hard to get a taxi from the station. When we first arrived, there was a strong formaldehyde smell, as they were doing some waterproofing work. Luckily, it was gone by evening, otherwise, I would have seriously considered leaving... They provide disposable bath towels and such. It's rare to find hotels with triple rooms, other places should really learn from this and offer more.

Not far from the train station, within acceptable walking distance, and quite easy to find along the street. There are several eateries downstairs and a large supermarket. The room layout is standard, and I think it offers good value for money.

The location is quite good, within a 2-3 kilometer drive to many attractions. You can also rent shared electric scooters right downstairs. The only downside is the smart toilet, which I found a bit difficult to get used to.
