A Fantastic, Value-for-Money Stay with Exceptional Hospitality I recently stayed at Hotel Petra Gate and had an overall wonderful experience. This hotel is an excellent choice for travelers looking for exceptional value and genuine, personal service. The most outstanding feature of this hotel is without a doubt the owner. He is incredibly polite, soft-spoken, and went far out of his way to ensure my stay was comfortable. He expertly arranged very affordable cab services for all my travel needs and was invaluable in guiding my sightseeing, offering helpful tips and advice that greatly enhanced my trip. The hotel itself offers great value for money. A lovely perk is the self-serve coffee and tea service available in the kitchen at any time—a perfect way to start the morning or unwind in the evening. Petra - Wonder of the World is just 1.5km away from this hotel.

This hotel offers a budget friendly stay. The owner was very kind and the location was great- round the corner from a small shopping mall with some nice restaurants. Bare in mind it’s very close to a mosque so call to prayer is fairly loud ( most hotels in this area would have this) The hotel is okay for the price, rooms are small but comfortable. Maybe a few extra steps in room preparation and cleanliness could make this stay a little better. We booked for two nights but only needed to stay for one night. The owner kindly refunded the extra nights stay which was much appreciated.

Old hotel. Small room. Just for sleep only for 1 nite. Location is great lots of shops n cafes/restaurants around.

Nice small hotel. Great location. Great views of the city, and a 3-4 minute drive from the main entrance to Petra.

It's okay for one night, but the reception area is under construction, the room smells bad, and the shower head is broken, making it difficult to shower. And rather shockingly, an employee was sleeping on a mattress on the reception floor. But still, it's passable for one night, even though I think you can find better.
