Oasia Hotel Downtown, Singapore by Far East Hospitality

The hotel's exterior is quite striking; I spotted it right after exiting the Tanjong Pagar MRT station. There's a Mr. Coconut in the mall area of the MRT station. I checked in on the 12th floor. The open-concept lobby is comfortably furnished with complimentary water and coffee machines. The room is small, not brand new but quite tastefully decorated, and located quite close to the surrounding skyscrapers. The neighborhood is very convenient for daily needs, with Chinatown and Maxwell Food Centre within walking distance. Behind the hotel, there's a FairPrice supermarket, and an adjacent building also houses a food court. Nearby, you'll find Ya Kun Kaya Toast and another FairPrice Finest in one of the buildings. There are plenty of dining options. There's also a small pocket park nearby. Downsides: I noticed some marks on the duvet. The air conditioning was too loud at night, so I'd recommend bringing earplugs. The buildings are very close to each other; you can see people in the opposite building, so there's pretty much no point in opening the curtains.

Excellent location, very close to the MTR station. The nearby shopping mall has a local supermarket which is more than enough for daily necessities. There's also a wide variety of restaurants to choose from. The area is more of a business district, bustling during the day and quiet at night. The vertical green wall exterior is quite unique and easily visible from nearby. The hotel staff are very friendly and polite, and professional in solving problems. The hotel lobby is on the 12th floor, spacious and comfortable, with natural light. For the connecting rooms, although not huge, there's enough space in each room to open two large suitcases. With large floor-to-ceiling windows, you can see a partial sea view of the container terminal. The bathroom is spacious, and the shower area is roomy with a rain shower.

The exterior of the house looks good, but the interior is pretty average, and the cleanliness is quite poor.

The hotel's location is super convenient, just about a 2-minute walk from the Tanjong Pagar MRT station. Right behind the hotel, there's a FairPrice supermarket, and a Hawker Centre upstairs, making dining incredibly easy. Maxwell Food Centre is about a 10-minute walk away, and there are many Korean restaurants nearby, forming a lively Korean food street. The hotel itself is clean and tidy, and the rooms are comfortable. While the air conditioning temperature couldn't be adjusted, the indoor temperature was just right, and I felt quite good during my stay. To check-in, you first need to take an elevator to the 12th floor, then transfer to another elevator to reach the guest rooms. Waiting times can be a bit long during peak hours, which slightly affected the experience. Overall, the stay was pleasant. The transportation is convenient, and there are plenty of dining and living facilities nearby, making it suitable for both leisure and business travelers visiting Singapore.
