Holiday Inn PATTAYA by IHG

I’ve never stayed at this brand of hotel before, and I was pleasantly surprised. While it’s a very family oriented hotel, it was still quiet and peaceful with excellent views of sunsets. Check in was great and I even checked in early on the day. Mika was efficient and she explained all the events and where to find everything. The room is very spacious, the pretty view of the sea was so lovely as you lay in bed. The room was cleaned well and even though bathroom facilities seem old they are maintained well. Breakfast was lovely, selection is a bit smaller but they still have varied dishes. I suggest serving Thai tea at breakfast, hot or cold, I had that at every hotel breakfast in Thailand except Holiday inn. Breakfast is very very busy ( family hotel).The location of the hotel is great, a short walk to terminal 21 mall is a short walk away and the sunset walking down/ up the road to it is spectacular. You can walk to central Pattaya in like 15 minutes to experience more restaurants and night markets. The pool was great to swim in, outside food is not allowed poolside and with excellent reason after I fished out a 7/11 bag from the pool. The hotel has a nice courtyard style restaurant with views of the ocean where you can just sit and eat and enjoy the views, but also note sewer smell is also strong along Pattaya beach There’s a 7/11 next to the hotel Also they have an atm at the entrance of the hotel, very very convenient and accommodating!! I would definitely come back to this hotel if I were to visit Pattaya again!!!

We booked this hotel mainly for our child to enjoy the kids club, and it absolutely met our expectations. Our child loved it and played there for both days. I highly recommend it for families with children who want a place where kids can release their energy.
