Hefeng Jingli Hotel (Houhai Gongwangfu Store)

Service: Absolutely fantastic, felt right at home. The staff were very friendly and communicative. On my last day, I had an early flight and they even prepared a portable meal for me – super thoughtful! Environment: The interior is lovely, and they offer laundry service. However, the location is a bit hard to find, so it would be better to get directions in advance.

The room was great, we brought our kids to experience a traditional Old Beijing courtyard house. The front desk staff were all very enthusiastic and helped us with any questions we had. The breakfast was also very generous, a buffet with both Chinese and Western options. The location is excellent, close to the subway station, and convenient for getting anywhere. We'll definitely recommend it to friends next time. The hotel's courtyard atmosphere is very strong here, we'll definitely come again – highly recommended!

This time, I experienced Beijing's old hutongs. Located in a residential area within the Second Ring Road, the hotel offers a striking contrast to its surroundings once you step inside – a real pleasant surprise. It's not too far from the subway station, making it convenient to get anywhere. Gongwangfu (Prince Gong's Mansion) is just over 900 meters away, so you can easily enjoy a city walk there. The hotel is very clean, and the front desk staff were really friendly and welcoming. Overall, a pretty good experience and definitely worth staying at.

This is a truly unique hotel, blending traditional quadrangle architecture with modern amenities, perfect for a relaxed stay in Beijing. The hotel's environment is pristine, and the breakfast spread is excellent. The bedding is comfortable, and all the bathroom facilities are automated. It's especially picturesque on sunny days! Thumbs up!

The environment and service were great, and they even offered an exquisite afternoon tea (featuring old Beijing specialty pastries, freshly brewed Chinese tea, healthy nuts, and seasonal fruits). I'll definitely be back!

The room was decent, and the quadrangle courtyard is quite unique, with its antique blue bricks and grey tiles – perfect for photos. I heard it used to be a civil official's residence, a 'sanjin-sanchu' style courtyard house. The front desk staff were all very welcoming; the young lady was particularly patient and even helped with my luggage when checking out. While the room was a bit small, it's understandable. I'd choose this place again next time as the location is also very convenient.

Traveling to Beijing with seniors and kids, choosing the Siheyuan at Hefengjingli was such a wise decision! The location is unbeatable, within walking distance to Prince Gong's Mansion and Shichahai. No need for long taxi rides, making travel with kids stress-free. The courtyard is spacious and flat, allowing children to run around freely. The environment is quiet and peaceful, ensuring a good rest for the seniors. The entire house was meticulously clean, toiletries were well-stocked, and the mattresses were comfortable and supportive for the back. The smart devices were easy to operate. Breakfast offered a wide variety, including mild noodles suitable for children. The staff were patient and thoughtful, proactively offering sightseeing routes. Right outside, there were all sorts of authentic Beijing snacks. It truly balanced sightseeing, accommodation, and food, making the whole family extremely happy. For family trips, this place is a no-brainer!
