I have to say, tourists are truly lucky to have a hotel like this in the small city of Fengjie! The decor is grand and poetic, the service is efficient and thoughtful, and the breakfast coffee is rich and mellow. The location is convenient – it's a 9 RMB taxi ride from Fengjie High-Speed Railway Station, taking just over ten minutes. Across the road, you can catch shuttle buses to Three Gorges Peak and Baidicheng; Huangting Hotel is a stop, and the fares are 30 RMB and 15 RMB respectively. After exploring the magnificent Three Gorges Peak and Baidicheng, checking into Huangting Hotel allows your tired body and mind to instantly relax. Fengjie is a small city worth revisiting!

The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable from every angle. The service was thoughtful and attentive. Its great location makes it very convenient for visiting the Crest of the Three Gorges and Baidi City. A very pleasant stay while traveling in Fengjie.

Traveling with my family, we stayed at this hotel. The surroundings are lovely, and the room bedding is very comfortable. The breakfast quality was also quite good. Highly recommended~

The service was excellent, and the bedding was comfortable. The river view from the window was beautiful, and we could even see the sunrise. The only downsides were that the room facilities were a bit old, and the breakfast was just average.

Thanks for the room upgrade! 1. This is definitely one of the top hotels in Fengjie. The environment and facilities are excellent. From the bedroom, you can overlook the Three Gorges Grand Canyon and even enjoy the sunrise over it from your bed, with the sparkling Zhuyi River below. Across the road, you're greeted by green mountains and water – the 'green water' being the Zhuyi River, not the Yangtze. A long health path and green belt run along the river, adorned with vibrant bougainvillea blooming under the sun. 2. The hotel is conveniently close to the high-speed rail station. A Wanda Plaza is nearby, just a 10-minute walk or a 5 RMB taxi ride away, making dining and shopping very easy. 3. Although the hotel is a bit far from Baidi City, there are frequent tourist shuttle buses that run from Fengjie High-Speed Rail Station to Baidi City and the Three Gorges Grand Canyon, stopping at the bus station right opposite the hotel. You can search for the '畅游奉节' (Enjoy Fengjie) WeChat mini-program to buy tickets in advance. When purchasing, select Fengjie High-Speed Rail Station as your starting point for tickets to various scenic spots. A ticket to the Three Gorges Grand Canyon, for example, costs 30 RMB. The large buses typically take about 10 minutes to reach the hotel from the high-speed rail station. Wait at the bus station according to the schedule, and flag down any bus with 'Baidi City' or 'Three Gorges Grand Canyon' displayed on its front windshield. A small reminder: while this bus stop sign doesn't show other public bus routes apart from the tourist shuttles, other public buses do stop here, so make sure you don't get on the wrong one. 4. The breakfast is plentiful, and the front desk staff are very welcoming. 5. Minor drawbacks: The room doesn't come with a standard clothesline. Also, the rug under the bed appeared to have some stains, so perhaps it would be better not to have one at all.

The room was nice and cool when I entered, I love hotels that pre-cool the room with AC, it just makes me happy. The front desk lady upgraded me to a river view room, and the scenery was absolutely beautiful, I forgot to take pictures! Next time I'm in town, I'll definitely choose this high-value hotel again.

This is an average upscale hotel for a county, but surprisingly it's rated five-star. The front desk was very friendly and upgraded me to a suite for free. They even called to check on my experience, and gave me a souvenir gift when I checked out. The suite was well-equipped with amenities and spacious, though the minibar selection was limited. It would have been even better if they offered two local specialty fruits from Fengjie, or a few bottles of drinks. The breakfast was abundant, and they specifically marked some dishes as local specialties. I found the local noodles to be the best – they were springy and the thickness was just right; I highly recommend trying them. However, the Western breakfast options were limited, and the only egg preparation was a full fried egg. The most disappointing thing was that during breakfast, someone actually spat on the floor in the indoor restaurant and then spread it around with their foot. The staff didn't even intervene. The guests' behavior, in this case, really didn't live up to the hotel's standards.

This hotel boasts an excellent location and a chic, minimalist design throughout. The service is incredibly patient and thoughtful, with staff readily adjusting to guests' needs. It's the perfect base for exploring the Three Gorges and Baidi City.
