The Quarter Chaophraya by UHG

I didn’t have high expectations for this hotel. I simply wanted to bring my granddaughters here for a relaxing getaway. But it turned out to be much better than expected, especially the accommodation and the wonderful atmosphere. We had such a lovely and relaxing stay. 原本对这家酒店没有太多期待，只是想带孙女们来这里放松度假。没想到入住后感觉比预期好很多，尤其是住宿环境和整体氛围都非常棒。我们在这里度过了一段非常愉快又放松的时光。

Good place to stay, nice river view, facilities like gym, pool is on point. There are also Lawson and Spa & Massage in the hotel. location is close to Icon Siam shopping centre with just 10 min walk.

The hotel is very nice and the most important -QUITE! Unlike many hotels in Bangkok which located along the busy and noisy streets, this one located at the end of the tiny street leading to the Chaophraya River, so you also have a direct access directly from the hotel and even some rooms right to the embankment. I love the low-rise style of the hotel …it feels more like resort than just a hotel. Lobby is very stylish and smells so nice! There is a quite big swimming pool and cizy garden where you can drink a cup of coffee or beer. Rooms are spacious for Bangkok ( for this money) and have a nice tiny balcony with a side view of the river. And smells also very nice. Sometimes there is a not pleasant sewage odour from the sink ( when the tap water is coming out), but it’s not that noticeable. Bed is comfy. But I have the one comments. There is a curtain, but no screens (tulle). So in the day time if I open the curtains it feels like being in aquarium. You can’t stay in your room in the underwear because in front of the hotel is residential building and they can clearly see what’s going on the room…so it’s lack of privacy. Closing the curtains in the day time make the room dark and it’s wired because room needs a day light. Curtain can be closed during the night. It supposed to be another half-transparent curtains behind the main curtain like in all other hotels. So in the day time you have the natural light in the room but also have your privacy. I hope the hotel will take a notice on this remark. Breakfast is very delicious and quite diverse.
