The Inn at Montpelier

Unfortunately the room was not in good shape. The room needs a 100% renovation including furniture.

The first impression was great and that was my check in. I arrived at 1:30 am in the morning and my room keys were ready for me to access my room. Then my room was very clean and nicely made. The staff here are very nice and helpful.

There are two different steps in the room- 1” to the bathroom, 4” from entry into bedroom. There should be a warning ***** or color rug change to avoid tripping

The place is really nice and gives you the old times feels. The heating system in the second building definitely needs to ge fixed tho, ran at 80 degrees all day and shut off at night, no way to change it per room either. They did say they were gunna get it fixed though. Staff was great and very helpful.

The Breakfast needed improvement. The room had character being in a old house and was clean.

What a lovely place! Very central located, clean and spacious room. The only thing that I didn’t like that there was only a bedside lamp and a fluorescent light by the door as a source of light.

Friendly staff, decent off street parking, clean room and bathroom. Way too hot with no way to turn down the heat, had to open the windows all night in the middle of winter. Breakfast doesn’t start earlier than 0730.

I know they are struggling right now but i feel like if they don't start investing in the property maintenance and guest amenities that they may run into trouble.

The breakfast was great, much appreciated, staff was friendly, parking was well off the main road, so it felt safe.
