Travelodge by Wyndham Brattleboro VT

The building was in poor condition, the property surrounding was trashed and bedding/furniture everywhere outside as well. The walls are super thin and the door was so cracked between the building/frame, you could see outside!! Holes in the flooring, mold in the bathroom. The heating BARELY worked and when it did, it was so loud it kept you up! Then, it gets WAY better. The entire hotel was empty, lots of rooms available. What does the hotel do?! Put about 10 young kids in the rooms above and beside us. On top of the noisy heater, I could hear them so loud above and outside, it’s like I was there!!!! No sleep and a VERY sketchy place!!!!

It was fairly clean room was cold however the staff was amazing, Awesome Customer Service skills and flexibility to accommodate my needs. I will definitely recommend to others.

For the price this isn’t a bad place, but I wouldn’t say I’d go out of my way to come back. Firstly, there was no toilet paper in the bathroom anywhere which was remediated very quickly, but really displays their lack of attention to details. Secondly, and more importantly, there was no seal on my door meaning the cold air from outside very easily seeped into the room. I’m so glad it wasn’t colder, because the heating unit was so loud I had to turn it off so it wouldn’t wake me up every time it kicked on (and mind you I usually never wake up when my ac unit kicks on), and by the time I woke up it was quite chilly in the room but thankfully not freezing. The lack of seal also meant I could hear every road noise which there was a lot of. If it was summer I probably wouldn’t mind so much, maybe even early fall, but winter I would avoid unless you want to shove towels around your door. The staff member who was there was incredibly kind, the parking situation was good, and there are a lot of signs about pets (no cats) so it seems dog friendly at least.

I will not be back. What’s roach motel must be like for roaches. Loud, gross and just no thanks. Glad it’s iver

Room was grungy, noisy overhead guest (seemed perm guests), dog barking, sketchy people out and around at 2am. The cost per night should have been $50 not $125.

The furnishing seemed new, but the room had some odors and the walls had some stains. There was a large gap in the window where the heating unit was, so it was constantly blowing to keep up and very loud.

Room was clean, bed was comfortable, staff was very courteous. Shower was full of hair, some unsavory characters doing business in the parking lot. Cold snowy night and mor ing and there was no ice melt spread anywhere on the property. I almost slipped and cracked my head several times the next morning walking from my room to the car.

The only positive was the nice man in the office. I knew I paid for a cheap motel - but going down to grab "breakfast" every single thing said Out of Order on it. The juice machine; all three juices, the coffee and tea machine. Why even bother displaying it if nothing worked. The towels in the room were disgusting and I'm glad I brought my own.

Unfinished paint. TV didn't work. Bottom right corner of the door was missing 3in triangle shape. Put towel against it to keep out cold. Front desk check in associate was very polite. I only stayed because snow and slick roads. Vending machine broken. No salt at front entrance.
