Fleetwood House Bed and Breakfast

When I arrived, the living room was on the right there were cat toys all over the floor and the large couches were covered obviously for the cat. There was a note that said don’t let the cat out while we never saw the cat, I smelled cat urine and there was cat food at the front door. There was nothing in the booking about an animal running around the house and my wife is allergic to cats in addition the room they wanted us to stay in was dirty. All the windowsills were dirty. The armoire had dirt and dust in the corners and the bathroom shower was dirty on the bottom and up and down the sides there was grunge/dirt and in the in between the glass doors and the shower and the shower walls. We left rather than stay in those conditions.

Linda is a wonderful host (and husband Jim is too). We stayed two nights and loved both breakfasts. The Edith Ann room was roomy and comfortable, added to by the air conditioner. We had a private bath. Fleetwood House is in a lovely, quiet neighborhood but easy distance from the airport. I would stay there every time.

Lovely, comfortable stay! So welcoming and accommodating. We only stayed one night but will keep this in mind next time we are in the area :)

This was a beautiful old house in excellent condition. The hosts were very nice. The breakfast was excellent.

Fleetwood B&B is a sweet place to stay! The house had a lot of family charm with a nice front porch, living room and nice dining room. The parking was street only but we never a problem getting a spot as it's on a small side street. Our hosts, Jim and Linda, were kind and served a wonderful breakfast in the morning. 5 stars!

Lovely historic house just as l had hoped...ninteenth-century atnosphere, lovely well kept old wood floors..Linda was right there to greet me even though my time of arrival was delayed a little at Portland bus station... perfect Maine alternative to generic bland hotel chains. Very glad to have landed here after long trip north,!

I very much liked staying at this lovely home, and the coffee and breakfast were delicious! I thought that the price was a bit high, though, for a shared bath situation.

Beautiful older home. Excellent guests relations by host. Good breakfast overs.
