Frankly worst hotel experience ever! We were in the Premium King Room, our room was directly across 2 bars. We can clearly hear the music (the bass was torturing), all the people talking outside the bar, motor cycles or car engine sounds. The worst part is they don’t happen until late at night, which usually starts at 11pm and ends at 3-4pm. We arrived very late the first night, we were all tired after our flight, and we were only staying for 2 nights. So didn’t bother to change room. But I regret not doing so, the second night was even worse. A huge bombing sound from across the street woke us up at 2:24am. I thought something went wrong downstairs. But when I walked to the window, I heard all the people outside the bar still laughing and talking and saying it was just a fire cracker (can you tell how think their window and wall are, I can hear everything down the street). I swear it sounded like a bomb, much louder than a gun shot. I complained to Trip.com and I was told they didn’t get any reply from the hotel. And after a few hours, I was told the hotel refused to do anything about it. I totally understand why the hotel has an armed guard near the hotel entrance at night. It’s not the best area to stay in town. And there’s a part of the window that doesn’t have curtains. You can’t sleep well in this hotel if you are a light sleeper.
