I wrote, deleted, and am rewriting this review because I had hoped to be able to leave a more positive comment than my original, but it is not possible. The upsides: the location is a bustling tourist area in a positive sense — it’s easy to catch a host of buses, there are people and families walking around until very late, and the view from the side of the Bosphorus is genuinely beautiful. The hotel is relatively small and aesthetically pleasing in a specific way, and the beds and bathroom are very comfortable. However, a specific downside makes this place effectively impossible unless you are a night owl with extremely poor hearing and earplugs: a club next door to the hotel will POUND music until literally 3 or 4am, irrespective of the night. I have never experienced anything like this. If you are DO book, make sure you are not on the first floor, or you may as well give up sleep for the night — your hotel room will vibrate. On the second floor, and perhaps also the third, you will also be keenly aware of the electronic music next door, and powerless to change it. Unless you plan to keep the same hours as the club, I would recommend elsewhere.
